Enjoy 4 acres of beautifully secluded grounds featuring 3 fire pits, gas grill, hammocks, cornhole, and inviting outdoor spaces. A birdwatcher’s paradise just minutes from Hocking Hills State Park.

    THE SPACE

    Step into an inviting oasis filled with bright, natural light and airy spaces. The comfortable main living room features large windows that frame picturesque views. You'll find ample room to unwind, whether gathering indoors or enjoying the expansive outdoors. The home comfortably sleeps 10 guests.

    - Fully furnished basement with a full bath, trundle bed (sleeps 2), pull-out couch (sleeps 1), and TV.
    - Chef kitchen with all cooking necessities, dishwasher, full-size fridge, toaster, stove, air fryer, microwave, regular & K-Cup Pod coffee makers.
    - Washer/dryer available for your convenience.
    - Several board games in the & a set cornhole and a ring toss game outdoor.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. There were several outdoor seating options with plenty of comfortable seating. Our boys enjoyed the lake and the kayak and canoe options. Overall, a wonderful weekend getaway.

Fantastic time!

Absolutely loved staying here! Came with my wife and 10 month old, along with my cousin and his two toddlers. Secluded, clean, great views, huge cooking space, and the owner was very communicative!

My family of 6 had a great time here. The house met all of our expectations. The location was great. We spent time hiking at the caves, went fishing at rose lake, train ride in Nelsonville, multiple wineries and restaurants and nothing was more than 20 minutes away. Kids were absolutely hooked to the ring hook game on the patio.

Wonderful Weekend Get Away!

Maria graciously hosted my friends and I for long weekend reunion. The house was not only very clean but had everything we needed and more! If I had any questions or needed help finding anything Maria responded timely and was very helpful. The property was beautiful and very private. I would recommend staying here!

What a beautiful home in the perfect place to get around Hocking. Host was very helpful and communicative. House is lovely with a nice big quiet yard. Amenities were perfect. Really enjoyed a relaxing trip away.

Happy 92nd Birthday Mom

The house was awesome. Just like the photos. The kitchen was amazing. My siblings and I took my mom to Hocking Hills to celebrate her 92nd birthday, complete with decorations and birthday pie.Maria was great and was able to answer all of our questions in a timely fashion.Mom is already talking about coming back in the fall.

Wonderful Time

Beautiful home in a tranquil setting. Close to local trails and restaurants. The host was friendly and communicated well and often. Lots of ammenties on the property with plenty of activities for adults and children. We cant wait to visit again. We would highly reccommend this property.

Excellent place

This was our 2nd time staying at La Esperanza and we enjoyed it as much in the cold as we did in the summer! Great hiking right out the door. Campfire ring down by the water was fun for daytime s’mores. Hot tub was fun in the snow flurries. Great communication with the host, Maria.

Loved the location on the lake and the free kayaks/canoes. Huge yard with lots of seating. Very well stocked with dinnerware, etc. Secluded location yet within minutes of restaurants and Walmart/Kroger. Host was super responsive and helpful!

Family Weekend Getaway

The entire family really enjoyed our stay at this very nice equipped home. The home is not only lovely, but it is a very quiet serene place to relax and enjoy nature. It is 5 minutes from the beach and 8 minutes from the marina where we like to rent a pontoon for an afternoon ride. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We have been to Hocking Hills many times as a family, but this was our overall favorite of all the places we have stayed.
