"We have stayed at Silver Tree and it’s absolutely wonderful! However on this visit, we booked with Expedia. We were not aware that the room we booked was 1 of 2 rooms not owned by Silver Tree. It was another 3rd party Vacation rental. So, beware, that if you book with Expedia, the hotel will not service or have anything to do with these rooms. It is all done through Taylor Made vacation’s. They only give you 1 key, no parking pass, and if you need any additional supplies for the room...

"The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience."

"Great little place in the country! We were in town for a WVU game and wanted a nice place to stay - great alternative to the hotels charging extremely high rates due to the game. Wish we had more time to spend and relax at the apt. Rooster on the property, so be ready for an early morning wake up call ;)"

"We decided to get away for a long weekend and this was the perfect place! Our kiddos had a blast, as did we! The cabin was in such a great location and our host was extremely helpful and communicative to our questions and needs! Highly recommend!"

"We stayed at this property for just one night, so my friends and I could go skiing for the weekend and hit the spa. We only stayed for one night and wish we could've stayed longer. The house was incredibly cozy, clean, well stocked, and just the PERFECT little cabin. It's the type of place you never want to leave. The owner communicated well and was super sweet to extend our check out time for a very fair fee. We are already plotting to come back this summer to enjoy swimming and water...

"Overall enjoyed the stay. Would recommend a king size bed in the upstairs master bedroom, a new bed in the main level master, and a bed be put in the basement bedroom instead of a futon. The water pressure for flushing toilets was not good and there was a sewage smell coming out of the hot tub drain. Parking was a little precarious and dangerous backing up and turning around on a hillside, also getting into the driveway was difficult even will 4wD we were spinning tires."

"We really enjoyed ourselves. The property was great. I would recommend this property for vacation. We got to see lots deer. At a fire pit with lots of chairs that were so comfortable big front yard big backyard."

"The ease of accessing and communications was very nice. The property had a nice comfy homey relaxing feeling. The hot tub was not functional and most windows did not open or close properly. The couch had broken legs in the game room and collapsed. All and all it was a nice stay considering the price."

"*The property was much smaller in person than it appeared online. *There was a spider infestation in the basement, which minimized our usage of that bathroom. *The doors that lead to the balcony, in the living room area did not lock which was a security issue for us. *The windows, cabinets and headboards on the beds were not clean. *The entrance in and out of our rental property was not easy to access. "When we first walked in the property, we noticed a weird musky smell. The outside lights on the back deck did not work so we could not light the backyard up at night. The pool table downstairs is not what it appears the area is too small to actually use the pool table and the downstairs has a very creepy feel to it. The hot tub is the best part of this property. The master bedroom bed was comfy. The kitchen was nice. Definitely a nice community very quiet. "

"When the TV failed to work in our room the front desk tried to fix and could not. They changed our room and with a nice upgrade I might add. Thank you very much we enjoyed our stay."

"The owner answered fast and was very patient and helpful when booking this house. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s HUGE! It was very clean when we arrived. The home has plates, silverware, and grilling tools which was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!"
