" We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home. Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork. Relaxing armchairs in our room with amazing views of the rolling hills and valley at the front of the house, perfect for switching off with a glass of wine. "Nice young lady showed us to our room which was nice. Only thing needed was a chair ( there was a stool. All areas clean. Good shower . Asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, yes, done. Lovely little dining room. Food was good. Big telly ( eyesight not good so beneficial for me) , plug sockets both sides of the bed. Good hospitality tray. Comfy bed. Bar was open until late but our room was quiet. Nice atmosphere in bar. Good welcome for breakfast, efficient and friendly service....

"The room was spotless and beautifully furnished; the bathroom was modern with plenty of shampoo, soap etc. The hotel itself has kept the charm of its age but with modern facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when we had trouble locating the car park. We had a full english breakfast which was plenty for us. "
