Newly renovated 2 bed / 1 bath lake house with modern elegance & incredible views of Lake Livingston! Whether you want to relax or play, this is the perfect spot.

Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the morning breeze from the balcony. A neighborhood boat ramp is available for quick access to water sports & fishing! Wind down with a glass of wine next to the fire pit while enjoying the sunset over the lake. A cowboy pool is ready for cooling down on hot summer days.

We can't wait to host you in our peaceful and conveniently-located cottage at the lake!

Please note that there is no direct lake access from the property.

Additional Details

Offering huge, beautiful views of Lake Livingston and a boat ramp in the neighborhood, the home is located just minutes away from Lake Livingston State Park, antique stores, restaurants, trails, the Alabama Coushatta’s Naskila Gaming casino, fishing, boating and more!

Our lake cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the upper floor. BOTH bedrooms contain spacious king size beds while the living room has a huge pull out sofa that turns into a queen size bed! Both bedrooms have dedicated work areas in case you need to take care of business. One bedroom contains a 43" 4K smart TV as well as nightstands with built-in USB chargers.

Natural light flows throughout the house, providing gorgeous views of the lake from the living room, dining area, and kitchen! The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials, coffee machine, cookware, utensils, instant pot, crock pot, hand blender, cutting board, and more. The living room has a 65" 4K smart TV while the dining area has comfortable seating for the entire family.

Step outside into the balcony, where multiple seating areas provide a picturesque view of the lake. Downstairs, the property also contains an oversized deck with a cowboy pool and bench seating around the fire pit. Both the deck and the balcony contain beautiful lighting to create a charming atmosphere.

Please note there are three security cameras on the property. Two point towards the driveway and one points towards the deck / side of the house. All are on and set to record.

We were staying while attending a family reunion. It was neat, clean and nicely decorated. Simple living space. I am sure they mentioned it and I did not think about it, but the stairs are a climb. My brother and his wife were with us and it was a little challenging. But if stairs are not a problem this is a perfect place to stay. Beautiful views of the water! We enjoyed it very much! Our host was great to work with us on trying to maybe get in a little early!

Beautiful Lakefront

This is an absolutely beautiful home with everything you need for your stay . House was very clean and sitting outside with the outdoor area was superb! Did find the 4pm check-in and 10am checkout to be fair to visitor . They even had dog beds for our babies . Super Time !!

We really enjoyed staying at Katrike’s place. It is modern, comfortable and cozy. We really appreciated Katrike’s flexibility in giving us access to the house prior to check-in and to the much-needed washer & dryer. The view was so very relaxing and we got to bond as a family since we had the chance to get away from the Houston hustle and stay a week in this peaceful home.

Cute place, check the fixtures

Upon arrival late on the evening, first impressions walking up were great. Well furnished, clean, charming. Went to turn on the bathroom sink and the waterfall faucet was spraying through the mineral buildup at the end of the faucet. Shower was the same way. Then the next day, noticed a hair tie on the kitchen sink and found out why it - the spray selector was broken. I don't want to touch somebody else's hair tie to do the dishes. It also absorbs water and gunk, which isn't very sanitary. Was only staying a few days, so I dealt with it and moved on. Overall good stay, comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood.

Cute Lake House With View

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is updated and decorated well and everything you need is supplied (towels, linens, trash bags, full kitchen dishes and pans) Our only complaint was that the lower deck was not what we thought it would be. It wasn't as welcoming as the photos showed. A lot of debris/dirt to clean off the chairs and swings before being able to use them and after a long hot day in the Texas heat we didn't have the energy to do that. The owners were great, communication was great. We had an issues getting one TV to work and they followed up immediately to help. Overall I would recommend staying here.
