"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November.
The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us.
There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace.
Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season.

"This is a gem of a find. Beautifully fitted out and managed with exceptional care. The facilities in the room and common parts are simply great and nothing was too much trouble. Mitchelstown has much to offer but Birdies is above and beyond."

"Where do I even begin? From the moment I got there; I was treated like royalty. Staff was top notch. Pods are the coolest thing and such a wonderful experience. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever. I should’ve stayed my entire week there and never left. I was so content and relaxed! I will definitely be back soon!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is!!! "

"The house was great, the view was unbeatable. It was a great little place with everything that you could need there. Would recommend and would definitely recommend watching the sunrise at this spot! Unmatched! The host was so friendly and helpful, answered questions very quickly. "

"Gillian's apartment was the perfect base for us exploring Cork County, the beautiful Copper Coast and the magnificent Rock of Cashel. Parking is ample and safe, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to make meals (we made our breakfast everyday before hitting the road, and a.couple of dinners too). Thank you Gillian for hosting us. We would definitely return when visiting Cork...

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The house is big and accommodating, everything you could need is there. It's in a nice area surrounded by nature and incredibly quiet... Apart from a background noise from the stream that runs close by. The area looks good for fishing as there is a lot of rivers / streams and private fisheries nearby.
The hosts were great and made a point of coming to talk to me when id arrived.
I do plan on booking again. Highly recommend."
