Tiny House Near the Beach in Ericeira—Reconnect with nature on this unforgettable getaway. Our tiny houses are nestled amid farmland on a horse ranch, just 400 meters from one of the best surfing beaches in the area. If you love surfing, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the nearest beach at São Julião, where you’ll find waves all year round! Our local community also offers small local cafés, Brazilian-style burgers, a microbrewery, and a surf shop/shaper. The Space: This is a 15m² shipping container converted into a fully self-contained studio home in 2021. This means the entire unit measures 6 meters by 2.5 meters, yet you’ll find everything you need to spend a wonderful week surrounded by nature and close to the surf and beach life. The queen-size bed (120 cm x 190 cm) features a medium-firm mattress and can accommodate one person or a couple. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a large TV, air conditioning, heated bathroom, good internet connection, and a small workspace. Electricity and hot water are provided by solar panels. You’ll also have access to our magical winter garden—a beautiful shared wooden patio covered with glass to provide shade and shelter from the wind and rain. It’s the perfect place to relax in the evening, watch movies, or enjoy a glass of wine. This space is shared with your neighbor in the other tiny house. Outside in the garden, you’ll find a BBQ, a fire pit, and a space to hang out. Guest Access: Full access to your private tiny house and the shared outdoor common area, including the garden and the back area, such as the washer and dryer and the outdoor restroom. Other Things to Note: This is a location in the middle of a horse farm. We also have dogs and chickens running free. In front of the houses, you’ll find the riding arena where our horses train daily. Our horses also love to play soccer and run freely, so we hope you’ll enjoy watching these beautiful creatures in action as much as we do.
