I’m just going to state the facts here. When we first arrived, the electronic keypad did not work. We had to communicate with the property manager. They were able to get housekeeping to come out and assist. They gave us the code to the system and it did not work. We were able to access the lockbox key and use it to get in. When we got in the housekeeper, showed that the door jam had been mangled from a previous visit and was probably the reason the electronic key did not work. When we gathered our goods into each room, we discovered that three of the five air conditioners did not work. We called management again. We tried resetting the system fully without success. It was the weekend and the management said they could not get a technician to assist. So we lived without the air-conditioning, which wasn’t horrible as it wasn’t too hot in the evening. The pool had lots of algae in it and was not swimmable when we arrived. We called management. They got a Pool person out to assist. We could not swim in the pool until the next day after they cleaned and shocked it. Although management did a dress the issues and in fact, they have offered a 20% discount which they claim will be credited back to us in the next 10 days. It’s now been seven days and we have not seen the refund through Expedia. Overall, it was a nice place and very user-friendly but the items the property management should have noticed and completed before the visit or not fully recognized. Ericeira was beautiful!
