The Space

- Living Room: The cozy living area includes a flat-screen TV. The main door serves as the apartment’s window, providing some light and a view of the street. Note: There's no sofa-bed in the living room.

- Bedroom: The interior bedroom, though windowless, offers a quiet and intimate atmosphere with a comfortable double bed (140cm x 200cm).

- Bathroom: The bathroom, also interior, is equipped with a walk-in shower for your convenience.

- Kitchen: The kitchen, while without a window, is fully equipped with everything you need, including a refrigerator, microwave, iron, and coffee maker (coffee not included).

Things to Keep in Mind

- Limited Natural Light: The apartment has only one window, located in the main door, which means natural light is limited.

- Noise: With the apartment opening directly onto the street, you may hear some neighborhood noise, especially during the day when the area is lively. Additionally, occasional noise from neighboring dogs may also be heard.

- Humidity: Due to the building’s age and compact design, the apartment can be prone to humidity. Regular ventilation is recommended for a fresh atmosphere.

- Limited Car Access: The apartment is located on a narrow, steep dead-end street, which restricts car access and makes parking difficult.

- Old Building: The apartment is in an older building, so the soundproofing isn’t ideal. You may hear your neighbors, or perhaps the occasional dog!

Just a 10-minute walk from Praça Luís de Camões and Baixa-Chiado metro station, Santa Catarina is a prime location thanks to its centrality - a neighborhood highly sought after by both locals and foreigners. When you think of Santa Catarina, two places immediately come to mind: the Santa Catarina Viewpoint and Bica.

The Santa Catarina Viewpoint is one of Lisbon’s favorite meeting spots, attracting groups of friends, tourists, and families who gather to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine while admiring the river and Lisbon’s magnificent sunset.

And perhaps the most photographed street in Lisbon is Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo. Located in one of the city’s most typical and vibrant areas, it’s known for its small bars and, above all, for the iconic funicular that runs through it. Constantly photographed by visitors, this historic tram has been climbing and descending the hill since 1892.

Bica offers a beautiful view and preserves its colorful 17th- and 18th-century buildings, many with open doors, balconies adorned with flower pots, and laundry hanging out to dry.

These two landmarks are the heart and soul of the neighborhood. The main artery connecting them, and anyone moving through the area, is Calçada do Combro. Day or night, there’s always life here, with a huge variety of shops, restaurants, people, and everything you might need.

￫ The property is ''Self-Catered''. Basic items are provided for your arrival, including hygiene products for the first day, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered as a courtesy only - replacements or refills are not included.
￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in your reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, an additional bed and bath kit will be provided free of charge at check-in.
￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers only the check-out cleaning. Extra cleanings or changes of linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
￫ Check-in starts at 2:00 PM and check-out must be done until 11:00 AM. Upon departure, it is necessary to place the keys inside the lockbox.
￫ During your stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving the keys in the lock or mailbox. In case specialized technical assistance is needed to open the door or in case of damage to the keys and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be borne by the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.
￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.
