This was a perfect location for us to support my husband, who was participating in the Ironman. The pool offered a great place to relax and recover.

Pros: the host is very communicative and professional, the location is lovely with views of the ocean and on a quieter side of town, fun amenities for our 7 year old daughter with a pool, yard, and play set. Walking distance to a nice grocery store and several site seeing opportunities. The place itself was spacious and as described in the listing. The building was nice with security and a little cafe. Cons: Cleanliness. The space needs a deep clean. General surfaces and bathrooms were clean enough but much of the decor was coated in dust, windows and window ledges were dirty, the couch and pillows were stained, rugs didn't look to have been vacuumed recently, and the bathroom vent was coated in dust. We also had a more significant cleanliness issue that we reported to the host immediately. The host sent someone quickly to take care of it. I very much believe the cleanliness is a reflection of the cleaning company utilized and not the host or the space itself. The apartment next door was also under construction (we could hearing banging the whole time) so that could also account for a lot of the dust build up too.Parking was street parking not in a parking garage. Overall we would recommend staying here.

The apartment was beautiful, check in was stress free with the 24 hour concierge and Therese was really helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. But the best bit was the pool which was amazing and easy to reach through the sliding doors. I came with my three children, 11, 15 and 17 and we all had a great time. I definitely recommend.

Heerlijk ruim appartement! Schuifdeuren open en je stapt zo het fantastische zwembad in, er waren altijd genoeg ligbedjes. In het appartement mis je niks, het is ook erg schoon. Supermarkt en fijne bakker om de hoek. In een half uurtje loop je naar de oude stad, een uber kan ook en is heel goedkoop. Vlakbij aan de kust zijn ook hele fijne restaurants (5 min lopen). Fijne contact met eigenaar! Sintra en Lissabon makkelijk te bereiken op tal van manieren. Fietsverhuur in het gebouw.

Séjour très agreable

Appartement très agréable avec vue sur la piscine gigantesque, toutefois avec peu d intimité, lit conjugale dans chambre avec lit superposé, futon dans pièce adjacente oû il y a la cuisine, pas de rideaux pour séparer et un seul ventilateur pour tous. Nous avons malgré cela passé de bonnes vacances en famille.

Family of 5

The accommodation was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. We have 3 children aged 8,11 and 14 and struggle to find hotel accommodation to fit us all in, within price range. This apartment was perfect for us all, plenty of space for eating, chilling out, making dinners etc. The location was perfectly situated for the Ironman event my husband took part in. The apartment was ground floor so had easy access to the pool.

Fantastic location to this property. We were very pleased. Stayed here with our 3 children. This was our first stay in Portugal! Visited from Canada for soccer competition in the area. Property itself was very clean, and contained most everything we needed for comfort and utility (could consider a toaster oven for us toasting westerners with toasting kids who love Nutella :), and has been beautifully renovated. We rented a vehicle for our trip, and found there to be ample parking nearby along the street (just watch out for hidden gates along some streets). Due to weather we didn't get to enjoy the pool area as much, but there is direct access from the patio to pool deck which was lovely. Overall loved our experience and our host was very responsive to any questions.

This place is better than the pictures!

Excellent location in a quiet and super scenic area but still close to town and restaurants. Easy access to town with bike and scooter path along the water. The apartment is newly renovated and elegant looking. Check-in/out was seamless. Host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely come back!

Estancia perfecta

El apartamento es totalmente fiel a las fotos. Estaba muy limpio y cuidado. En la cocina hay todo tipo de menaje suficiente para todos los huéspedes. El proceso de entrada es fácil ya que tiene personal de seguridad las 24 horas y nos facilitaron la llave. Está a unos 20 minutos andando del centro de Cascais (hay un paseo precioso) y a 5 minutos escasos en coche. No hay ningún problema de aparcamiento y se agradece que no sea de pago como ocurre en el centro. En los alrededores hay cafeterías, restaurantes, supermercado... es una zona muy tranquila. Therese, la dueña, es un encanto y siempre accesible.

Our stay at this condo in Cascais was bittersweet

Me and my family stayed in this apartment for 1 week. It is exactly like it appears in the photos. The positives: location, proximity to the common pool The less impressive: bed linen and towels were not ironed, kitchen lacks a microwave and a toaster (and some other less important cooking utensils), the small fridge doesn't have any light, there was a carpet in the bedroom blocking one of the doors which was not practical at all and didn't feel very safe, there are no blinds and we could only open one of the glass doors so there was not enough ventilation during those hot days, no A/C, low water pressure in the shower. Frankly, I think the apartment is overpriced for what it offers. Communication with the host was easy but I felt like the check in and check out rules were annoying and they were sent to me 3 times which I also found exaggerated.

Beautiful but not functional

The photos of the apartment are beautiful and honest. From the moment we entered fell in love with the apartment. Unfortunately, the photos do not tell the whole story, the love affair only lasted for few minutes and our fascination has changed to bewilderment. We noticed that air in the back of the apartment and the bedroom is a bit hot and stale and much to our surprised, we discovered that the ultra modern apartment in what looks like a very modern building was designed not only without heating and cooling, but also without ventilation! The only way to ventilate apartment was to keep the outside door open at all times, and given that this door is on the ground level leads straight to the pool, this brings safety and security concerns. I believe that that this is not safe and not suitable for families with small children. Additionally, it means forfeiting any control over inside temperature - with the door open, the temperature inside will approximate the temperatures outside, and as I mentioned the apartment is lacking heating and cooling. Lastly, even with the door open, due to building design, there is no draft, and the air is barely reaching the back side of apartment. Hosts provide a ventilator, but it's not adequate for the apartment of this size and layout. Having said all that, these drawbacks have not affected our stay too much - the weather during our stay was mild, the earlier heatwave has passed, our children are reasonably obedient and it was somewhat weird, but ok to keep the outside doors open day and night. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and having nice pool at our doorstep was awesome. The hosts also were nice and it's not their fault that the building was designed without basics which most people take for granted. However, I felt important to leave a critical review, because I have doubts whether this apartment would be comfortable to live in during periods with less pleasant weather. I'd encourage travelers to inquire with hosts to get the tips on how to balance air circulation needs with a comfortable indoor temperature. PS Lastly, when seeing apartment on the map, I noticed that it's next to the ocean. One thing which I didn't realize - that due to high cliffs there is actually no access to the ocean. The closest beach is about 30-min walk in the city center. Unless you are an avid walker, I'd recommend having a car in this part of the town. On the positive side - street parking is plentiful.

We literally just checked-out of this property today! We had a wonderful stay in Caiscais, beautiful area and coastline - Praia do Guincho a must, super surfing here. Fabulous restaurants across the road, main town 20minute walk, or €3-5 in an Uber. Apartment was very clean, well appointed and had a lovely pool area. Therese, the owner, was attentive with information and recommendations before we arrived, as well as checking-in with us on our first few days. Thoroughly relaxing time had!

Cascais is such a beautiful stunning area. The property was equally beautiful and a great location

Our stay was fabulous. The property was absolutely spotlessly clean and beautiful and spacious. It was even better than the photos. It was quiet which was exactly what we needed. The be pool was amazing and just outside our door. It is in a great location. The property manager is also wonderful and I will definitely return.

Amazing vacation in Cascais

We spent three nights. The apartment was perfectly located. Therese was an amazing host. Always very attentive and helpful. The apartment was clean and ready for our stay. We had a wonderful time and look forward to being back.
