The cleanliness and aesthetic of this property is a five-star experience. Its location was ideal for our two-person, three-night stay in Lisbon, and nearby great cafes, restaurants, and close enough to a PlaceCar parking garage. There happened to be a beautiful Christmas market walking distance during our stay, as well. In the spirit of fair and balanced feedback, I must point out that although there are two bathrooms, the host only supplied bath soap in one bathroom, which I can only assume was a decision based on the number of guests; however, that was insufficient. Additionally, the quality of said bath product was lacking: three-in-one body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. It felt stingy. We would have also appreciated more dish towels than the host supplied, only one(!) There were no paper towels, and I don’t know if that is a cultural difference or an economic decision. We would have had no problem with the number of towels left out for our use either, but for the fact that our bath towels never seemed to dry due to the time of year we were visiting and the inside ambient temperature of the flat. But we were okay at the end of the day. Oh, one more, smaller thing was the bed squeaked a lot.We appreciate your cleanly, beautiful space and recommend it, but maybe you can improve in those minor areas.Thank you!

The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. It’s located in the middle of Lisbon so most things we wanted to do were easily within 10 to 15 minutes.The host was a quick and efficient communicator. Others have mentioned the stairs which can be challenging especially for the initial trip up with luggage. But it wasn’t too difficult for us though we’re in our late 60s

Lovely place — great host and amazing location!

The place was lovely—super clean and very well located. Communication was excellent. The instructions and the on-site welcome package, which included many suggestions of restaurants and activities, were very appreciated!

Vivi was a wonderful host! She answered multiple questions about Lisbon and even arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport in the early hours of the morning because our flight out of Portugal was at 5:30 AM.The apartment was sunlight filled, and spotless. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and beautiful.We walked from the apartment all over Lisbon. Such a convenient location :-)

Gorgeous Flat

This was a gorgeous place. It was clean and easy to check in. It has everything you need but It’s a bit of a walk from the main sites we wanted to see and the walk back is uphill. That typically wouldn’t bother us but the flat was three flights of stairs up and had no AC so it wasn’t very refreshing when we returned home each time. An Uber is probably best. The flat did have 2 fans for the bedrooms but I do think additional fans would have been helpful since we were there in 90 degree weather. It would have been perfect in cooler weather.

Practical and Safe

When traveling to a foreign country it is difficult to assess the safety of neighborhoods and when traveling with family this is a central concern. This location and place offered the safety and security I expected. The location was also practical in the sense that many attractions or points of interest are walking distance or a short ride away. The description can be more specific about third floor (no elevator option) location, for those with physical problems you definitely need to reconsider and the fact that their was no AC is another disadvantage. However, in my opinion the advantages outweigh these disadvantages, the place was clean, had all the amenities we needed, the top floor felt like a pent house with plenty of space for our family. Highly recommend the place.

Excellent facility and service. The place was spacious and clean and felt like home with all the needed amenities. It is centrally located within walking distance to the city center! Beautiful, spacious apartment

We loved the apartment, however we did not expect to have to take our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The listing is accurate but things we did not think to ask such as no ac, no elevator, no paper towels or napkins, no soap or shampoo in the second bath. Luckily we had some so it was not critical but for such a nice place it was disappointing. Just some things to consider if you plan on staying here.

Very nice apartment in a good area, close to supermarket and excellent Italian and Indian takeaway. Unfortunately I was not able to enjoy all the benefits of the property as I fell and broke my arm on the 2nd day of my holiday making life very difficult!

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay! We were only there two nights but it was a perfect location to be. Very walkable to other parts of the city, down through Barrio Alto all the way to the water. our host was very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected

60th birthday celebration

My husband and I met up with another couple to celebrate some birthdays. The apartment was spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a comfortable living room to spend time in. The kitchen was spacious as well. It was quiet even though it was on a busy street. There were lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy access to the metro system as well. You do have to walk up a few flights of stairs but if you are visiting Lisbon you will already be walking up a lot of hills and stairs. Great place!

Great location, wonderful apartment

Very comfortable apartment, close to sights, grocery and the best Italian restaurant (la trattoria). Perfect for 2 couples. Had a slight electric problem and Vivi resolved it within 2 hours. Couldn’t have asked for more!!!
