Welcome to Whaleback! Available to rent for the first time in nearly 40 years, our 3 BR/2.5 bath Loon Mountain Village unit loves to host outdoor adventure seekers in a clean, well-appointed, cozy setting. Perfect for families, enjoy waking up to gorgeous views of Loon Mountain in the heart of the Whites. Its secluded Primary En-Suite features a king-sized Casper bed, bathroom, and a private balcony with mountain views. Head up the stairs to find the second bedroom features a queen-sized bed and is just off the main hallway bathroom. Head up just a couple more stairs, and you'll find the open living room, dining room, back deck with a stunning view of Loon, and Whaleback's retro, yellow kitchen. Whether you plan on spending the day on the slopes or trails, or you are looking to stay in and relax, you'll love Whaleback's vintage vibes while taking advantage of its modern amenities, such as Hue lighting in the living and dining rooms, smart speakers, smart TVs, board games galore, and a Tesla charger for EV Charging. When not in the condo, you can swim in The Village's many year-round pools, play tennis in the summer, and work out at the community fitness facility.

Great home layout, impeccably clean and well appointed, easy to relax and feel at home. High end hotel feeling mattresses. Pool and amenities, outdoor chess game, etc make a family friendly trip no matter the weather. Plan on returning!

Will LOVE this chalet style house

We are a famely of 4, my children are 9 and 12, and you enjoy the house, the area and all the pool and Spa. We also play in Arcade and big chess. We have at the cottage à 4 days game of monopoly. The bed downstair is excellent. All my kid have a room with TV, we feel like in à hôtel. The day, we do activities and all night pool and spa. The région have so so much to do. Merci beaucoup! We live in Montréal! Canada

Charming condo in a perfect location

This charming condo has so much room, has everything you need and is in a perfect location right across from the mountain. Jay was awesome as he responded quickly and provided excellent information. The family and I have already started talking about coming back.

This is a great place to stay! Highly recommend

The condo has gorgeous views of the mountain, enjoyed by windows and two balconies. The beds are so comfortable and the decor is a very cool 70 vibe with authentic details and an overall very comfortable feel. The kids loved their lofted beds, the two pools in the rec center and being so close to snowboarding and tubing. The condo is also very cozy, warm and feels like a home. The owner has thought of everything. The owner was also very helpful, kind and patient. He even mailed some items we left behind to us after the trip, which was above and beyond.

12/10! What an awesome place!

We are frequent visitors to the area and have always stayed at hotels. After spending a long weekend at Jays home, hotels will be a thing of the past for us! It truly is a home away home! They have provided you with everything you would need from towels, kitchen necessities even down to ice in the freezer! And the location! Directly across from Loon mountain and a 2 minute (if that) drive to downtown! Jay is a very nice and such an attentive host as well! We certainly will be back very, very soon!

Beautiful Condo for a weekend getaway

Jay’s condo is really nice. From the furniture to the duvet and the fireplace, it felt so welcoming and homey. We didn’t want to leave. We had 3 couples (6 adults) comfortably stayed here. Everything was clean and fully stocked with toilet trees and kitchen supplies. I definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful condo

The location is perfect, especially with the shuttle service to the Loon base every 10 minutes. The layout and size of the unit are ideal, it was very clean and well furnished and stocked with essentials - even pizza pans and a rolling pin! The owner responded immediately to messages and is very nice.

Awesome spot!

We normally head to Stowe for a Fall family getaway but decided to try Loon this year, and boy are we glad we did! The main reason for that was this condo. For what we normally pay for a hotel in Stowe we were able to all have our own bedrooms and not be on top of each other, ie: dread going “back to the room.”. The ability to cook some meals in in the full kitchen was also a major plus. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very well appointed. Very chic and just the right amount of funky with the cool upstairs bedroom! It had everything we needed and then some. It was so great to be able to come home and watch a family movie while we enjoyed a drink by the fire. We hope to return for a weekend during the ski season because this definitely seems like the ideal spot for that. Very short drive to the mountain (though we walked over for some hiking), and to downtown, where you can find everything you would ever need. Great spot!

Comfortable, Clean and Perfect All Around

What a gem! Jay keeps an immaculately clean and cozy condo. My wife and I stayed here with our two young boys. We took advantage of the pool, hot tubs, and fitness center along with the beautiful outdoor amenities at arm's length. My only regret was not having an electric vehicle I could charge on the charger! Jay was responsive and helpful when booking the stay. Check-in and out were smooth and effortless. This stay will rank among our best. Thanks for sharing your mountain villa with us!
