Authentic 14th century priory steeped in great history (former annex of the Abbey of Tournus) carefully rehabilitated, peacefully nestled in the countryside on a beautiful property made up of several buildings (perfectly restored) built in "stars" around a historic courtyard . Perched on the hillside, this elegant medieval castle of character nestled in the very heart of the vineyard dominates as a "belvedere" the Arlois valley (the only one in Burgundy which, due to its geological particularity, produces both white, rosé and red from southern Burgundy as well as northern Beaujolais) & the picturesque village of Leynes. Accessible just a stone's throw away, this perfectly preserved village, nestled like an amphitheater in the hollow of a sumptuous valley of vines, at the foot of a vast wild forest massif, benefits from a sublime landscaped setting (on a clear day you can see the Alps, up to 'to Mont Blanc from the top of the village). Spacious gîte with very good comfort. Warm country style with contemporary accents, enhanced by the totally exotic soul of the place. Very charming. Cozy & cozy. Pleasant "offset" garden (slide swing & badminton net) housing a "double terrace" (exposed gravel & sheltered) adjoining a meadow where the owners' peaceful donkeys graze (completed by a sheltered gravel terrace at the foot of the gîte). Magnificent panorama & landscapes. Composition: Property comprising 2 family accommodations (including owners) + two gîtes (total independence). Wifi (fiber). Gas central heating + wood stove. 1st floor: living room-kitchen-lounge, 1 bedroom (double bed 160x190cm) with private bathroom (shower), separate toilet. 2nd floor : 3 bedrooms (2 single beds 90x190cm / double bed 160x200cm / 2 single beds 90x190cm + double bed 140x190cm) including 2 with private bathroom (shower/Wc), bathroom (bath/wc). Ground floor: Separate toilet. Triple terrace (1 gravel / 2 sheltered) + garden + carport (1 space) + private parking. Bicycle storage. All amenities including supermarkets 7 km. Stay in an absolutely exceptional medieval building & landscaped setting! Very comfortable gîte - equipped with bedrooms with private bathrooms - set in an authentic priory dating from the beginning of the 14th century (completely rehabilitated & steeped in great history), nestled in the very heart of the bucolic vineyards of the very famous "Saint-Véran" cru ", in the heart of the Mâcon countryside, 7 km from a vast commercial area (all amenities on site including supermarkets) & 12 km from Mâcon, the southernmost city of Burgundy nestled on the banks of the Saône. Calm & tranquility, perched on an exposed hillside, dominating in a "belvedere" the picturesque wine-growing village of Leynes & the gentle Arlois valley, in the hollow of a sublime undulating setting of vineyard hillsides, nestled under the wooded ridges of a small forest area protected as a Natura 2000 Zone (for the quality of its rich ecosystem). Es ist ein sehr schöner Ort, mitten in Weinbergen. Sehr sauber, gross, mit allem, was man braucht und sehr sympathische Besitzer, die sogar excellent Deutsch sprechen. Können wir nur empfehlen!
