The recently installed kitchen has been thoughtfully designed with stylish quartz worktops and is well equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable self-catering stay. Alongside an integrated oven and microwave, slimline dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment, you’ll also find a coffee machine—perfect for enjoying a freshly brewed coffee before setting off to explore the Dales. Gather around the rustic dining table to plan the day’s adventures over breakfast or unwind with a home-cooked meal in the evening.

Upstairs, two welcoming bedrooms continue the cottage’s blend of traditional charm and comfort. The principal bedroom retains its original oak beams and wide oak floorboards, complemented by a wrought-iron double bed overlooking the peaceful village street. The second bedroom has been tastefully redecorated and features a small double bed alongside a single metal feature bed, making it ideal for families. From here, guests can enjoy wonderful views across the enclosed garden, surrounding countryside and the distinctive outline of Penhill.

The contemporary bathroom has been recently refurbished and includes a walk-in shower, wash basin, toilet and heated towel radiator.

Outside, the sunny south-facing enclosed garden provides a peaceful haven to enjoy the fresh Yorkshire air.
