Only minutes away from the State Capital, Castle & Key, Buffalo Trace, KY Bourbon Trail and KSU. For all history lovers, this home is just seconds away from the Frankfort Cemetery where you will find many Kentucky Legends, such as Daniel Boone.

Located in the Heart of Frankfort. Bourbon on the Hill is surrounded by history. The aerial shots showcase the proximity of this rental to the Kentucky River, State Capital, Downtown Frankfort, and Kentucky Military History Museum.

Parking:

Guests will have access to only one parking spot at this unit. Parking will be in the rear of the house, where guest will travel down a few steps to the back door of this unit.

Where Bourbon and Politics run free, is where you will find Bourbon on the Hill. This unit features vinyl plank floors and wireless internet. The right hand side unit of this duplex, Bourbon on the Hill has two cozy bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and the second features a full. Bourbon on the Hill also offers guests a full kitchen, washer & dryer, living room views to Downtown Frankfort, and just a short commute to live like a local and experience all of Kentucky's finest. An iron and ironing board come with this unit for all of those important events and photos. Residents will enjoy heat and air conditioning during their stay. Your Booking does not include the 4% local Frankfort Occupancy and Transit Tax. This will be sent as an additional request upon approval of booking. We enjoyed out stay, however, there was an issue with the Hot Water. My granddaughter's water turned cold before she got her bath completed and then the same thing happened the next day when she took her shower. My daughter also did not have hot enough water for her shower. You need to check the hot water heater. We will be returning in November and would like to book this unit once again if that has been corrected. We come to Frankfort several times a year for a weekend horse show at Lakeside Arena

The property has potential but needs significant maintenance and updates to meet expectations. During our stay, the hot water only lasted long enough for one brief shower before running out. The exterior shows visible wood rot, and one bedroom window has a large crack and doesn’t fully close, which adds to noticeable road noise. The beds were also quite uncomfortable. Management responded promptly when we mentioned the hot water issue, but overall the home felt dated and in need of attention. With some repairs and improvements, it could be a much more enjoyable stay.

Great for a long weekend away! We loved sitting on the front porch in the evenings- we could smell the mash from Buffalo Trace! The space was small, but had everything we needed. Within walking distance of several restaurants, and a great central point between many Kentucky distilleries.

Very nice property. This is a duplex and very small. Perfect for what we needed. Parking is tight, so please take that into consideration when booking. House has been updated and decorated very nicely. Neighborhood is questionable however we had no issues during our stay. The bathroom could use some work, mold on base boards, bathtub slippery.Overall a good stay for the price but just set your expectations accordingly.

very nice house. A little small in the bedroom sizes.The bed is against the wall & my wife would have to crawl out to use the bathroom. The only bad thing is the parking. I have a full size truck and the neighbor that was staying in the cottage besides us( this is a duplex) decided that they were going to park on the middle of the street instead of the parking spot they were provided & blocked my truck in. The Host did not respond to my message about it until the day after check out.

The pictures of this property are specifically placed so you can’t see anything wrong with it. The outside is starting to look very worn. Window screens with holes. The bathroom has mold on the walls and the trim around the floor is peeled and and needs replaced. The front room is small but nice. Bedrooms are fine.

Perfect stay!

This lovely property is a short walk away from Frankfort's beautiful historic downtown distric. The property was beatifully decorated, stocked well with dishes and supplies, and check in was the easiest I've experienced yet. This is am especially grwat stay for bourbon lovers, as you're minutes away from the big names and smaller distilleries as well. I will definitely return in the future!

Stayed here for the night. The area around the house was a little run down but it was central to all things we wanted to do. Entrance to the house was easy and locks to the house were all secure. Bedrooms and living area were nice but the kitchen bathroom had water damage/mold. We had rain while there and there were several locations by bathroom where water came in. I could see the water coming in from under floor trim. There was a chalky film on the floor in those locations when we entered the house, so I’m assuming this also happened before we got there and it dried up. Seems to be a reoccurring issue. The place was fine for the night but would not stay long term. Hard to use a bathroom that’s flooded.

Bourbon on the Hill

Nice place to stay. Good spot to walk to any place on the main stretch downtown. Lots of food/distillery recommendations available on the wall when you walk in the door. Host was quick to reply to any questions. Great experiencd overall.
