The stay was great. Had a group stay for hitting a few distilleries in the area so it was in a great central location. The house was very nice and quiet like we like.

This is a beautiful little spot to stay while bourbon hunting around all the distilleries in the area. Location was perfect for us getting around the area and not rushing. House had been remodeled alot in the inside. Property manager was a pleasure to deal with. 10 out of 10 I remmomend. We will be back in the future.

Expedition Bourbon

We stayed 4 nights and loved everything about the house and location if you're heading to the distilleries. The house was very clean. The owners are great and quick to respond to answer any questions we had.Would definitely stay there again.

Peace and Quiet on the Kentucky River

I can’t express how perfect the Stagg House is. The peaceful setting along the Kentucky River allows an abundance of relaxation. The house is perfectly placed in relation to the numerous distilleries nearby. We will be booking the Stagg House again for our next visit to Kentucky.

The Stagg House.

The house was clean and has everything anyone would need. My father in law loved sitting on the patio just watching the river. The first day there we saw to baby deer. Ashley had told us they had seen a mother and three babies. Then the next day we saw a mother and one baby. It was a little difficult to find but we found it. It was quiet and peaceful. Just a very pleasant experience.

Perfect Hideaway

Communication with host was great. Location was tricky to find at first, but I wouldn't change it for anything. Lived the neck porch swing. RIGHT on the river with a trail down to a small beach. The home was such a beautiful combination of old structure and new decor. A new(er) fridge with ice maker/water dispenser would be my only suggestion.

Bourbon Getaway

So glad we chose the Stagg House as our base for a few day of bourbon shopping. It was the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying our wares after busy days in the distilleries! Sweet house with all the comforts of home just steps from the Kentucky River.
