  • Welcome to our charming pet-friendly Irish farmhouse, set on three picturesque acres just outside Lexington. This 500-square-foot retreat features a clawfoot tub, propane fire pit, and screened-in porch with mountain views. Enjoy the cozy feel of a tiny home with plenty of space for a memorable stay.

    Located near Kerr’s Creek, you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of country relaxation and easy access to downtown Lexington. Whether sipping your beverage of choice on the porch or dining on Main Street, the farmhouse offers the best of both worlds. Washington and Lee University and VMI are just a 10-minute drive away, and Southern Virginia University is 20 minutes from your doorstep. Big Spring Farm is 5 minutes away, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic 20-minute drive. Nearby activities include tubing on the Maury River, kayaking at Lake Robertson, visiting the drive-through safari park, or enjoying a drink at Devil’s Backbone Brewery or Rockbridge Vineyards.

    Things to note - The cottage is located near a private residence and the highway. You may hear some light traffic noise, but a sound-reducing fence is in place. An outdoor camera monitors only the driveway and does not capture any other part of the property.

    Additional note: As a pet-friendly property, we warmly welcome your pets. Please note that a pet fee of $100 will be added to your reservation to ensure thorough cleaning for our next guests, especially those with allergies. This fee will be applied once we update your reservation details to reflect the correct number of guests and pets.​ If you have any questions or need assistance with your reservation, please feel free to reach out.
    Help us ensure that all our guests arrive to a clean and inviting space by adhering to our guest guidelines!

    - The booking party must be 25 years of age or older and present during the entire stay.
    - Please remove your shoes inside.
    - There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property.

Wonderful Getaway!

The Mortons

We loved this little get away. The house was located close enough to town we could grab what we needed but far enough away from the city to enjoy ourselves. Everything was super clean and comfy.

Perfect Little Getaway

We absolutely loved this cottage. It's in a great location with beautiful scenery, but still close enough to downtown Lexington. The host was very communicative and everything was super clean and well taken care of in the cottage. We would definitely recommend/stay again!

Lovely cottage

My husband and I were visiting the area for a wedding and wanted to have a long weekend away to recharge. The cottage offered everything we were hoping for and more, it was so peaceful and cozy. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

BEAUTIFUL IRISH COTTAGE

This cottage is so adorable with charm and decorations. It is the perfect “lovers hideaway retreat”. The location is close enough to town and country enough to enjoy the beautiful views. Can’t wait to return!

Great House

What a great place. Location was great, away but not too far away from other people. Not far from the highway, restaurants and grocery stores. Just like the pictures. I highly recommend this house for a getaway.

Perfect little getaway!

This Irish farmhouse was the cutest little home for some relaxation! The place was nicely decorated and very clean. We woke up to the most beautiful views and my dog enjoyed the large yard! In addition, I want to personally thank the property manager for adjusting bookings with us last minute and truly appreciate it. It was a great stay!

Outstanding In Every Way

My wife and I were looking for a rural getaway for a night. Our expectations were exceeded. The view is phenomenal, the inside is beautifully decorated, and the small touches were nice…chocolates, flowers, muffins. We highly recommend staying here. We will likely return next year.

Property is beautiful. Great view. Deer grazing in the yard. The place is very charming. The tub and shower curtain a bit of a challenge and if I could suggest that more table tops be available for traveling bags since there are no closets.

Peaceful getaway

I came for a wedding in Lexington and brought my dog along for the weekend :) This property exceed my expectations! The inside is gorgeous, clean, and has plenty of space to hang. Not to mention the TWO porches, fire pit, and amazing land! My dog loved getting to run and play outside. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome stay and property

Our stay at the Irish Farmhouse was perfect! The property is well designed and appointed and an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape and area. We didn’t get use the porch or fire pit as it was too cold but definitely will next time we stay. Everything was spotless, the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had just what we needed for a meal that we picked up from a local grocery store. Close to downtown Lexington but far enough away to feel remote. We can’t wait to plan another stay!

Beautiful and efficient little house

Everything was just as shown in the pictures. We were attending college events in Lexington and this space was an easy drive to town. It was nice to be in the country and enjoy coffee in the screened in porch each morning before starting the day. We watched deer walk up the driveway and listened to the birds sing while we ate breakfast. Great views of sunrise over the hills from the other deck. We would definitely stay again.
