"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"Forgan Cottage was a great place to stay for the four of us on our golf trip to St Andrews. Facilities were clean and well cared for. Location is excellent - if you want to walk you are within 15 minutes of just about everything of significance in St Andrews. While no onsite parking - there is ample free parking nearby. "When we first arrived the cottage had that old house/cottage musty smell so opened ALL the windows. Bedrooms were nice except I found a blanket in a wardrobe with, I think, dog hairs on it. We love dogs but maybe a notice to say they were for dogs and perhaps washed before next visitors, a small thing for us but maybe not for some others. "We stayed one week in OldStables. Had a perfect week by enjoying the beach and silence with our dog. Helen and Ross have us good tips where to Go to discover Fife. The house is well equiped and spacious. Will be glad to stay there once again"
