This is a fantastic property for a quiet, contemplative, relaxing getaway from the rat race. Only three minutes by car from the public parking area of Baie Aux Prunes and the best sandy water entry. I got into the ocean in front of the bungalow, but water shoes would be a good idea as the entry points in front of the bungalow are a bit rocky. The other bungalow on the property did not have a renter during the nearly two weeks were there. We loved the landscaping, the solitude, the views. It is great for walking on the beach, swimming in the pool while looking at the ocean, watching boats, ships and personal watercraft. Other positives are the laundry facility, the security gate to the property and to the entire Terre Basse area, the excellent kitchen facilities, pool and deck furniture, its proximity to the Marigot and the great French bakery (Chez Fernand), and only 20 minutes or so from Grand Case and the fantastic restaurants that are located there. The concierge was Yacine. He is superb at finding places that matched our desires. Yacine went beyond the basic in keeping daily contact and urged us to reach out to him with any need. Be aware the metallic clicking we heard at night was geckos. It sounded like someone tapping on the windows. The pool and grounds were taken care of on a regular schedule. The art in the bungalow kept us intrigued.
