"Das Hotel war insgesamt sauber. Das Zimmer zwar recht klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok. Allerdings war der Aufenthalt nicht besonders einladend: Auf dem Flur roch es durchgehend unangenehm nach Zigarettenrauch. Das Frühstück war leider eine herbe Enttäuschung – sehr lieblos und qualitativ schlecht. Aufgrund des schlechten Frühstücks und des Geruchs im Flur würde ich hier nicht noch einmal buchen."

Two of us had to get a single room at an extra cost of just under 30 euros each
I spoke to the manager the next morning and he is blaming expedia and told me i must ring them to get a refund
I feel like i have been fobbed off"

"Could be my favourite hotel. Ever. The staff(owners) are lovely. Gave a tour of the wine cellar which was SPECTACULAR! Like a cathedral. The decor was brilliantly done. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated w all new fixtures. The garden patio was out of a movie. Beds were king size and perfect. I have never stayed in a hotel with more attention to detail.
And the town is the most perfect medieval town I have seen in France. We had dinner at Henri IV square...

"Basic at best. Location is on the outskirts of town in a petrol station. Bit of a walk (15min) into the town.
Breakfast was really poor. There was no lighting as overhead lights had failed. (I did see people working on them the previous night, but obviously did not fix them).
We had cycled from London to Paris. No bike storage, but staff said we could keep them stored in a conference room downstairs. "

"The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant was good. However there is nothing else around. We were on our way to La Rochelle and it was a good stop off point for one night. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. Parking very easy and just of the autoroute"

"Stop looking and stay here! Fabien’s hospitality made it so worth it. Met us upon arrival, very clear instructions and he brought us a fresh breakfast in the morning. Flat has everything a family of 4 (two young teen kids) could need. The location couldn’t be better, minutes away from historic sites and amazing food options. No street noise. Can’t say enough about how great the stay was, will return and stay here again, without hesitation. Merci Fabien!"
