Arrived at chalet and left within an hour to check in to a hotel
Our stay didn't start well as arrived late and had to collect key from a box at another location with directions of how to get to the chalet. The directions were in French which we managed to translate but even then they were unclear. Walked in and it was so so tiny - our fault for not really taking in the square footage. Suffice to say there was no area wide enough to even open our case. The bunk beds were really designed for children (I had two 21 year olds with me) and there was no space for luggage or clothes in the room. The double room which was reached by some steep steps was again really small. Very dark too with only one working light - tried to change bulb but it was the fitting that was broken. I paid for sheets & towels thinking they would be put on the beds but they weren't and the bottom 'sheet' was a paper slip which didn't quite fit the beds and would be uncomfortable and not hygienic. It's worth noting that although it has two bathrooms, the top one doesn't have a toilet so there is only one (unclear in description). It defies belief that this is sold for accommodating 6 people - we were a party of 3 and we could hardly move. We didn't even stay here as it just wasn't going to work so we checked in to a nearby hotel.
