"Absolute trip of a lifetime. Everything from the pickup from the airport to the drop off was wonderful. Staff were amazing, property was beautiful and the reserve was incredible - we saw all of the Big 5 and more in 24 hours. Can’t recommend highly enough."

"Arrived on Friday afternoon and received excellent reception from the front desk.there was no toilet spray or any odour controlling mechanism in the bathroom room.left the room at 5am and came back at 12:30 pm.the room was cleaned but without towels,they were only replaced around 13:00.had an issue the aircon that sounded like a petrol fuelled generator which was attended to immediately."

"Great little place if you want to avoid some of the more exorbitant places in kruger. Saw the big 5 after a day and a half, plus cheetah, giraffe, hippo and plenty more. The 3 nights we stayed was plenty. "

"Many years ago, before the infamous conflagration that destroyed part of the hotel, I stayed there. Also, every Sunday, my family and I would indulge in tea/coffee with fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam. The bar, then, was most charming. Thus I found my self back at this hostelry, and even the room seemed like the one I stayed in then. Not much has changed. "This beautiful hotel is very grand and is still very classy. It is showing its age however, but we still had a wonderful experience, with my husband celebrating his birthday at dinner where the staff made his night very special. The staff are excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. "
