My comment is based on the lack of transparency of pets and the level of noise. I booked my stay through Expedia.com and it stated pets were allowed. It didn't state any restrictions. I checked in, paid the pet fee and after settling into my room headed out to run some errands when the hotel staff told me I could not leave my cat unattended in my room. I asked her how was I suppose to eat or run my errands if I cannot leave my room. She allowed me a short time to leave but told me that I cannot leave the hotel without taking my cat with me. I sent an email inquire the next day to the hotel and was in a debate with a hotel staff member who just kept telling me it was their hotel policy but this policy wasn't listed on Expedia.com and I would have never booked their hotel. Around 5 or 6 pm she can to my room and suggested I can leave my cat in its carrier at the front desk for when I need to leave the hotel. To me, it was unacceptable but agreed. I don't recommend bringing your pet to this hotel. The noise is very loud if you stay in the rooms beside the roads. Its an old rustic hotel. You are very close to the cathedral and other amenities.
