Our sunny apartment is located in a listed building, the original wooden floorboards and antique doors are maintained. The rooms are carefully decorated and equipped with comfort, so you will also find free Wi-Fi or a Full HD TV with Blu-ray player.

Our apartment has got a bedroom with a double bed and a small workplace, a living room with a sofa bed, a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. There is a dishwasher, oven with ceramic hob, a microwave, a refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, kettle, pots, pans and crockery. You will also find a cot and a high chair.

nice apartment; not so nice milieu

The apartment's fine, but the building itself was undergoing renovation in some apartments and the common areas were unfinished. The neighborhood is a bit depressing, with so many derelict buildings, and now shortly after our departure ethnic riots. The owner is in West Germany and refers you to local friends for assistance, but one didn't exist, another was unhelpful not to say rude, and the third offered help only after we insisted that he contact us. The owner also gave us an incorrect code for a key box which we had to sort out with the assistance of a stranger thanks to her friends being unavailable. I would not recommend this apartment. There are much nice parts of Leipzig. Given how the owner kept silent about the building and neighborhood, I'm not sure that Home Away should continue to list for her.

Die Ferienwohnung ist gut restauriert und sauber, durch die Code als Schlüssel problemloses Check-in ohne Zeitdruck, gute Anbindung zur Autobahn, allerdings gestaltete sich die Parkplatzsuche am Abend etwas schwierig, die Umgebung machte einen gewöhnungsbedürftigen Eindruck, da wir die Ferienwohnung aber nur als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit gebucht hatten, war es okay

wie zu Hause

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an in der Wohnung zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist klar und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Die Küche ist mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Geschirr ist neu, appetitlich : es macht Freude zu kochen und am Abend am Tisch den nächsten Tag zu planen. Unsere Einkäufe haben wir in der Parallelstrasse der quirrligen Eisenbahnstrasse besorgt. "Klein Istanbul" ist fast noch einmal wie ein 2. Urlaub. Wir haben Leipzig ausschließlich mit dem Fahrrad erobert. Dafür war die Lage der FeWo ideal. In 10 Minuten am Bahnhof/Innenstadt und durch die Parkanlagen in 45 Minuten am Cospudener See. Die Räder konnten wir sicher im Hinterhof abstellen. Wir würden in der FeWo wohnen, wenn wir Leipzig besuchen. Danke an die Vermieterin, die bei einer Nachfrage sofort persönlich für uns erreichbar war.

Die Wohnung liegt in der Paralellstraße zur Hauptverkehrsstraße, d.h. man bekommt vom Verkehrslärm absolut nichts mit, ist aber zu Fuß in 2 Minuten mitten im Leben, hat reichlich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die TRAM-Station der Linien 1 und 3, die zum Hauptbahnhof verkehren (Fahrzeit 6 Minuten). Die Wohnung ist mit reichlich Geschirr ausgestattet - auch sonst hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war äußerst angenehm, die Reaktionszeiten stets kurz.
