Marie is absolutely amazing and it was such a pleasure to stay at this cabin. My boyfriend and I went hiking and explored Downtown Asheville, and didn’t find it difficult to get around. We enjoyed the grill and spending some time on the porch, and we even got a visit from Marie’s goats a couple of times! I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone wanting to get some fresh air and explore the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge.

We had an incredible weekend at Marie’s family homestead cabin. The cabin has all the modern conveniences and everything you need while retaining its traditional feel. You feel like you’re stepping into someone’s family history (and you still have Starlink!). We loved it. Oh - and don’t miss the Waynesville Farmer’s Market.

We were very happy with our stay! My wife and I were both astounded at all the beautiful details; it seemed as though we stayed in a work of art. Marie was wonderful and told us the story of the 1890s cabin- cool history. It was extremely clean and had more than anything we needed. I think our favorite thing was hanging out on the porch, watching the butterflies and hummingbirds, and we can't forget the "hillbilly" hot tub. The isolation was exactly what we wanted too, and it wasn't far from things we may need. We hope to come again!
