Serene and peaceful, Villa Fankri is located in the southmost part of Lefkada island. With sweeping views across the sea, beautiful open-plan living spaces and three tranquil bedrooms, this is the perfect space to enjoy a sunny holiday with your friends or family.

Inside, the villa’s walls are painted with warm colours that make the space feel cosy and welcoming, whilst the bright windows looking out to the sea add a light and spacious feel to each room. Upstairs there is a large living room with comfy sofas positioned so you can look out to the sea. When you want to curl up and relax, you can light the fireplace, watching television and movies or playing games with your loved ones. This bright and open-plan space also includes the kitchen, which is well-equipped, with everything you need for cooking and entertaining. Glass doors open out onto the main balcony, with breath-taking views to the beach, so you can meander in and out with ease, enjoying every ray of sunshine.

The villa has three bedrooms, two of which boast large king-size beds. The third has twin beds, although if you prefer you can push them together for a third double. All of the bedrooms have modern en-suite bathrooms, so all your guests can enjoy their own privacy, with the downstairs bedroom including a luxury jacuzzi tub where the last of your worries can melt away into the warm bubbling water! The twin bedroom even enjoys its own private balcony where you can relax with a glass of wine or morning coffee, watching the waves move on the horizon.

With balconies on each level, and steps leading down to a beautiful pool terrace below, there is plenty of space to enjoy the fresh sea breeze and near-constant sunshine. Bordering the swimming pool are sun loungers and seating, as well as a fabulous built-in barbecue where you can grill fresh fish and local vegetables, eating al-fresco as a group.

The sandy beach and local eateries are all just a short walk from the villa’s front door, so once you have arrived there is no need to travel far! Villa Fankri offers you a tranquil space to enjoy every moment of your holiday, from feeling your feet on the sand, eating local food in the restaurants to gazing out at the glistening ocean, feeling the fresh sea breeze on your skin.

Villa Fankri is located just 1km from the scenic village of Vasiliki, with the beautiful sandy beach just 20-meters away. The beach is a luxury treat for water sports lovers and families with kids, offering a sandy coastline and shallow waters, that are safe for everyone to enjoy! Vasiliki sits at the centre of South Lefkada, internationally known as one of the top-10 beaches for windsurfing around the world.

If you are a fan of boat trips, then the marina at Vasiliki offers trips out to the beautiful beaches, including Agiofilli beach. The entire island is popular with boaters, with yachts for international tourists and locals alike, ready for you to explore the hidden magic along the coastline!

Lefkada itself is easily reached from the mainland via a causeway, so you can rent a car for your convenience and explore the island on the way to the villa. Aktion International Airport is just 38km away by car, whilst Athens is 408km away. Perfect for family holidays the island is filled with stunning beaches, luscious green valleys and soaring mountains. Combine all this with the friendly locals and relaxed, care-free atmosphere, the setting is perfect for a restorative, unforgettable holiday!

If you are looking for a day excursion away from the villa, then the Nydri waterfall is a beautiful spot to travel to, less than 30km from the villa’s front door. After driving to the waterfall, you can enjoy a scenic hike through olive and citrus groves and over rocks to the glistening pool at the bottom of the falls. You can swim in the refreshing water canyon, watching the waterfall from above. 

The food on Lefkada is similar to mainland Greece and the rest of the Mediterranean area, with the magical addition of breath-taking mountain views from many of the local eateries! Make sure you try a local moussaka and some souvlaki, or for vegetarians the fried cheese, delicious Greek salads and zingy dips, all of course, served with traditional bread.

In Vasiliki, a short distance from the villa are two supermarkets, plenty of cafes and restaurants as well as bars to enjoy nightlife. There are also many bakeries where you can buy fresh bread, honey and other local products, so you have everything you need nearby!
