Small, but cute, and nice location. Once inside, the cabin was cold and the heating was very slow to produce heat. The bathroom wasn’t clean with hairs on the toilet and sink. The loft is ok for older children, but not toddlers or infants due to steep ladder and short railing. We found dust and debris on both bed sheets, debris was small wood splinters. The dishes were sticky. We hand washed everything before using them. The fan in the bedroom was stuck on, the pull chain that would be used to regulate the fan speed was missing. I messaged Vacasa that night. They asked if I would like to have the issues addressed, which I said yes, but that was the last I heard. Nothing was addressed and no follow up. On the morning we checked out, we followed the instructions provided and removed bedding. While doing so, it revealed that the mattress had extensive staining and had the look of a large amount of urine. The bedroom was musty but I never expected to see that. After we left, I contacted Vacasa 4 times. I provided pictures, detailed description of my concerns, screen shots of the text conversation, and never received an answer as to what they are going to do to correct the issues. Just excuses and blame. If Vacasa doesn’t take cleanliness seriously, then look elsewhere for someplace to stay with your family. The intention of this review is to advise people so they don’t have to experience what I did, and hopefully have the issues fixed so it’s better for the next person.
