I was promised by the person who checked me and again by the person who checked he out that I would be copied into an email to their accounts department. Neither one did.
I had no confirmation of booking due to an unused email address that Expedia has. As a result I was double booked. All I asked was for a credit from the hotel as I will be staying in Leeds 15-20 nights per year. I will not be staying at the Hilton in Leeds now and I won’t use Expedia.
The lack of refund or credit is a problem, the bad smell in the lobby is an issue that the hotel must sort. Both of those are understandable. What is unacceptable is that no one replied to me on my correct email address from Hilton or Expedia after I gave it over and over again! I feel abused by two previously trusted brands.
