  • O'Connor Island es una isla de 1. 5 acres en St. Lawrence River. La cabaña se encuentra en la parte más alta de la isla, a 40 pies sobre el agua, con amplias cubiertas y vistas incomparables del río. Disfrute de un café en la mañana y cócteles en la tarde.

    La cabaña tiene un dormitorio principal con una cama queen y medio baño privado, y un segundo dormitorio con literas. El segundo baño tiene bañera y ducha. Se proporcionan todas las sábanas. Hay una gran televisión de pantalla plana con satélite en la sala de estar, así como un reproductor de DVD Blu ray. También hay un pequeño televisor con reproductor de DVD en la habitación con literas. El WiFi funciona en toda la cabaña y en las cubiertas exteriores.

    La cocina cuenta con microondas, cafetera y una estufa de cuatro quemadores con horno. Trae agua embotellada para beber. La mesa del comedor tiene capacidad para 6. El sofá cama para 2 personas.

    La cala es ideal para nadar. La casa de botes tiene capacidad para 2 botes más pequeños y hay un amplio espacio de muelle que puede acomodar botes de hasta 36 pies. Hay energía en tierra en la casa de botes y en el muelle afuera para botes más grandes.

    Por la tarde, disfrute de la brisa que sale del lago Ontario. Si el viento es demasiado fuerte, retírese a las cubiertas en el lado este de la cabaña donde alguien puede estar usando la parrilla de gas.

    ¿Cansado de cocinar? El Ivy Lea Club tiene un restaurante de cinco estrellas. Está a solo unos minutos en barco. Los menús están en la cabaña.

    O'Connor Island estará disponible para alquiler del 1 de mayo de 2020 al 30 de septiembre de 2020.

    A la Isla O'Connor solo se puede acceder en barco, hay 3 opciones:

    1 - Traiga su propio barco, el lanzamiento está disponible en el cercano puerto deportivo de Peck
    2 - Alquile un barco en el puerto deportivo de Peck
    3 - Toma un taxi acuático
    Cualquiera que sea la opción que elija, estaremos allí para recibirlo y mostrarle todo. El viaje en bote desde su automóvil a la isla es de 5 a 10 minutos.

    Pasamos un tiempo maravilloso en la isla. El entorno es absolutamente ideal si le gusta la privacidad, el aislamiento, las vistas increíbles, ver amaneceres y atardeceres relajantes con una taza de café o una copa de vino, según la hora del día. Lo que hace que el lugar sea único es lo complaciente que es el dueño con sus invitados. Cualquier otra isla que buscamos sugirió que usáramos un taxi acuático para llegar allí. John nos llevó a la isla él mismo, y generosamente proporcionó otro paseo en bote de ida y vuelta durante nuestra estadía para acomodar nuestros planes, a pesar del hecho de que volvimos tarde por la noche.

Beautiful island property in the heart of the 1000 Islands!

Wonderful quaint cottage on pristine private island! Our favourite boating get-away! Beautiful swimming cove with gradual entry, awesome fire pit area, multiple decks and seating areas for every spectacular view. We had an amazing time here!

Lovely location

Perfect private cottage for vacation with small family. Location is exceptional. Cottage feels like a true cottage, a little dated decking/boat house but it’s he cottage is clean and well stocked.

Beavers, mink, ospreys, eagles, hummingbirds, sunsets, golden dawns, moonrise, bonfires glowing on the faraway shore of New York State, fishing, swimming off the dock, great restaurants on the Canadian shore an easy boat trip away, and an impossibly beautiful island all of our own. The cabin isn’t luxurious - but honestly, who even cares? An incredible place - a little slice of paradise.

Adorable Cottage!

The cottage on O’Conor Island is adorable! Our family had a wonderful time. Loved the hammock! Great area for the kids to run around and play. Fun fishing! Eric is a great host!

My wife and I had a great stay for our anniversary weekend! Beautiful private island with lots of yard space for the dog to run around! The cottage has everything you need and lots of seating both indoors and out. We especially loved the access to the boathouse keeping our boat protected from the elements! A short trip to the Ivy Restaurant gave us a break from cooking responsibilities for a night and provided a beautiful view looking back toward the island. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to come back. I think we’ve found our yearly spot going forward!

Beautiful views. Best dog vacation ever. Plenty of supplies. Great kayaking. There was a gnat problem every morning. They would cover sinks and counters. A quick cleaning and they’d be gone until next day.

Beautiful island, great location

A truly beautiful rustic cottage in the heart of the gem that is the Thousand Islands! As boaters of this area this was the perfect weekend getaway for us to brings friends to! Two couples stayed very comfortably in the cottage while we stayed in our boat with the luxury of great dock space and shore power! The island is the perfect size with an amazing beach area and fire pit, as well as plenty of lounging areas around the cottage with spectacular views! We will be booking again next year!

Another amazing stay.

This is definitely a hidden gem in the 1000 islands. The property is private, fully equipped and incredibly convenient. Ours daughters took the SeaDoo for a 3 minute ride to get ice cream at The Ivy. Love our days here. Already booked for this August and next summer. Family memories made.

Location and Island was Fantastic. Cottage needs deep cleaning, windows, bathrooms...some paint and a bit of renovations. Too many dishes, coffee makers, didn't leave much space for our groceries, etc...but, all that said we had a great vacation on the Island. Thanks.

Island Getaway

We enjoyed a week on this island getaway with our two dogs. Went swimming and paddle boarding with them. Jeff (property manager) and Eric (owner) were great. Informative and easy to contact when required. Weather was great except for the last 2 days.

Amazing for a short or long, private getaway.

We absolutely love this place! The location is incredible and the water is clean to swim. I wish we could get away from work more so we could book more time there. Our teenage girls love spending time there. Privacy is amazing because you are on the island alone. Sitting on the adirondack chairs for morning coffee, listening to the loons is the best time of day! Already booked for next summer!! ❤️

Beautiful island

The location could not be better. Communication with the host was great. Cottage itself has everything you need but isn’t luxurious in any way (which it doesn’t have to be). Water isn’t potable which would be good to know in advance. We enjoyed our stay very much and I would not hesitate to rebook. Thank you!

We had an amazing week on O’Connor Island! The weather was very hot which made for lots of time spent in the beautiful water swimming. The swimming area is so nice and clean and has next to no weeds which I loved. The boat house was excellent, we didn’t have to worry about bad weather and if the boat would be ok. The cottage is great - nothing fancy but everything was clean, it’s stocked with everything you need and it’s a perfect, cozy cottage with lots of room and storage. Even though it was so hot when we were there the first week of July, there is a great cross breeze and fans throughout the cottage which made sleeping easy. We absolutely loved the peacefulness of the area and having a whole island to ourselves! We sat in the Adirondack chairs every night watching the fireworks over the weekend and watching the moon rise. Eric and Jeff are great and both are very responsive to questions leading up to our stay and while we were there. We have been vacationing in The 1000 Islands for the past 4 years now renting cottages on different islands and we have now found our favourite and the one we want to return to each year!

Rustic getaway

If you are looking for the perfect "get-away-from-it-all" location, this, is it! You will be in a rustic setting with plenty of hot water for washing up after a busy day exploring the thousand Islands, spending quality time around the campfire or simply admiring the enormous view from one of the many decks on all four sides of the cottage. Fishing on these picturesque waters is world renowned and the mainland is a mere 8 to10 minutes away on either side if you decide to venture back into civilization. Bring your own drinking water, or rough it by boiling your own. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen - enough for as many people as you want to fit in the cottage. The King size bed in the main BR is new and comfortable. The "no curtains" special feature is awesome for star gazing should you happen to wake up in the middle of the night. Great docking area for your boat, and Peck's Marina has a good assortment of boats if you need one. The closest thing to civilization on the Island is the high speed internet and satellite TV - both optional of course if you are there to totally "unplug".
