Welcome to "Whisperwood Lodge".  Step into this grand home and feast your eyes on beautiful architecture that will be sure to inspire and delight you. From the 2 story windows in the great room to the inviting loft, with an area for the kids to play and explore, this home will give you a true “lodge in the woods” experience.

The main level has a breathtaking open concept space complete with a large fully stocked kitchen, dining area, and living room. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa and gaze out at the lovely natural setting that surrounds the home or enjoy the sunshine while listening to the sizzle of bratwursts on the grill. This home will entertain in any season! In addition to the main living area, there is a spacious bathroom with a charming claw foot tub and a cozy queen-sized bedroom.  On the lower level, you will find two matching bedrooms complete with a queen size bed and a loft bunk in each separated by a jack-and-jill bathroom. Across the hall, there is another appealing bedroom with an attached bathroom but the pièce de résistance of this floor is an entertainment space for game enthusiasts!  Complete with a foosball table, a poker table, a dart board, and a large-screen TV for enjoying a family movie with your whole group, this room will not disappoint! Climb the stunning staircase to the third level of this home to see the master bedroom with its king bed and fun loft space, its large walk-in closet, and finally the sizable master bath with double stone sinks and a glass-enclosed shower.

This gorgeous home is situated at the end of a private driveway surrounded by mature trees and beautiful views and will be sure to dazzle your group with a memorable vacation.

This property is located 11.1 miles from downtown Leavenworth.

***Important Winter Information***

Due to the hillside location and difficulty with winter access, it is important to be aware of the following.

From 11/15 - 4/15, icy conditions or snow levels in the driveway and parking areas can make navigation difficult between snow removal visits.

Only vehicles with high clearance and AWD/4WD are adequate and must have cables/chains available to install as needed to traverse the hillside.

The drive is long and has steep sections with no parking at the base of the hill.

Love Leavenworth will not be responsible for any towing charges.

The pool is open from May through September.

Please use caution and supervise children at all times.

The decks and balconies have secure railings but caution should be taken with children.

If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.

We utilizing this home for a business retreat. It was a great space, enough bedrooms for everyone to decompress and the common areas were perfect for meeting spaces.

Overall a great stay, driveway very scary but they did warn us ahead of time and even called while we were on our way to let us know it was snowing, kids had a ball playing in the snow and with the neighbors dog, Jed, who visited us daily. The house had a few problems but were addressed right away once we called.

We stayed for 2 nights in December for the snow setting. The house is great, accurate listing, and help when I needed the check-in instructions sent again since it was confusing with VRBO and a secondary company managing the property. The only short comings were: 1. kitchen appliances were not clean on arrival (oven and BBQ) 2. kitchen was not stocked with basics for cooking, some utensils were dirty and the kitchen in general really needed a better scrubbing 3. garbage cans outside were all FULL and an animal had torn into another guests garbage sack that was left outside the can so my husband picked up someone else's garbage on his birthday. The architecture was gorgeous and setting was unbeatable so I would stay here again... maybe in the off season.

Good amenities ( hot tub)and very roomy with our large family of 12! Beautiful views from every party of the house. Overall the rental was great! But could maybe use a new coffee pot? Very slow to brew. We will be staying here again.

This rental property is amazing. The only thing which i did not like was that it is at top of the hill and road is not paved which goes to the property and it can be risky during snow season.

The cabin was wonderful and fit all of us. We really enjoyed the 3 levels and large living room and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked. Watch out for the very steep driveway that switches back with no solar lights or yellow markings on the blocks that keep you from falling off the mountain side. Also the management company uses a time locked so if you show up any time before 4 pm you will have to wait at the front porch or call to get in (if you have cell service). If you are sensitive to dust like half our group you will have challenges in this cabin. I don't believe it has ever been dusted. Layers of dust on ceiling fans, window sills and really thick in the downstairs area. The hot tub was wonderful and we really enjoyed how quiet the area is. If the power goes out like it did on our trip you will have no water etc. No generator or small back up power currently. The cabin is on a well. The propane stove will still work with a lighter.

Awesome property and views. Worth the 10 mile drive out of town but tricky to find the first time. Kitchen well equipped but very disappointed that the deer just did not work and several of us really wanted to wash a load. Manager tried to resolve but apparent that technician would need to work on it.

This property was everything we needed for a group of 4 couples spending a weekend away. The house was well-stocked and had a beautiful view of the forest and mountains. It was so private and had plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a private, relaxing, beautiful home in the outskirts of Leavenworth!

We booked this place and the day of and on our way to stay I received a message saying the hottub was out of order. Unfortunately we had to scramble to find a different place to stay so i cant give any further details other than that

My family and I loved our stay at this property it was gorgeous! The best place to stay if your looking for a large private home with a view. The surrounding snow against the sunlight was to die for. This home had more than enough space for our family of 5. Each member had their own private wing ha! The drive to Leavenworth is less then 10 minutes which we enjoyed during our stay. We also didn't have any issues with the driveway in snow, it was fine as long as you don't go too slow. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken, but the staff was very apologetic and tried very hard to get it fixed, we understand during a pandemic its hard to get speedy repairs in the middle of the forest ha. Great stay, can't wait to visit in summer!

We stayed in this cabin for our annual cabin trip with our family. The cabin is beautiful and so are the views. And as we read in the description you definitely should not underestimate the drive way in the winter. Even with our AWD it was a bit tough to navigate through ! But we did love the privacy of this cabin.

This was a great house for our adult-only group but I was surprised at a few of the expectations that totally missed the mark. First and foremost - take their advice and do NOT rent this house if you do not have access to 4WD vehicles in the winter. The driveway was worse than we expected and honestly terrifying driving down after it had snowed - even with 4WD. Someone did come and plow it which was incredibly generous and nice, but still scary. Upon arrival, the house cleaner was still there. I know you can’t control what the party before you does but apparently they trashed the place. She said she would clean until we arrived but that meant that carpets were left unvacuumed, random pieces of trash were left in the rooms (there was a huge fake eyelash left and on a bedroom windowsill with other scraps of garbage haha! But ew...), food was left in the fridge, the kitchen stove top was stained and gross plus two of the burners didn’t work. The shower liners desperately needed to be changed. And so on. This house was also incredibly under stocked. That was the most surprising part. The cooking utensils were few and far between, there were no ziploc bags, extra garbage bags, or seran wrap, and general pots, pans and bowls were limited. The bathrooms had zero accommodations in the event someone forgot toiletries. And so on. The beds were quite uncomfortable. The seating in the living room was less than ideal. For a home that sleeps 12, the couches can only accommodate 7. The Pros: The view is unbeatable. The price is very reasonable given the size of the house. The hot tub was a great addition. Although we didn’t have kids in our group, this would be a fun home for kids to be a part of. Plenty of parking. Lots of dining space. Eventually the pool will be done and that will make it even better!

We loved staying at the property. The support team is fantastic! FYI, the hot tub is just a tub with hot water, does not have the jacuzzi bubbles. But we would still consider going back since it has something for everyone! A fully stocked game room was such a blessing! We actually left one of ours for future families to enjoy :)

We had 8 adults staying for a mid-week vacation after Labor Day. The house is beautiful and plenty spacious for our group. The pool wasn’t quite finished yet but will be a fun addition for next time.
