Gîte with swimming pool, Nordic bath, close to the landing beaches

Within a vast 5000m2 property in a typical village, 8km from the landing beaches and the medieval town of Bayeux, we offer this 68m2 gîte ideally located for access to the various historical sites.

Our cottage has on the ground floor a fitted/integrated kitchen with all the appliances necessary for your stay, a relaxing living area and toilets. A washing machine is available in the equipment list.

Upstairs, you will find its two good-sized bedrooms and their comfortable bedding which promises you a restful and restorative sleep, and the bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed 160cm x 200cm, the second has two single beds 90cm x 190cm which can be pushed together.

Each living room is equipped with a high-definition flat screen. The TV in the living room is coupled with an Android box allowing you to access VOD and streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.) if you have associated accounts.

Grill lovers can count on the Weber barbecue (47cm) at their disposal on the terrace.

Beyond the private terrace, you will have access to the 5000m2 of gardens which accommodate the swimming pool, the tennis court, the ping-pong table and the Nordic bath for moments of relaxation and escape, whether for you or to share as a couple, with family or friends.

You will find at Gîte de la Paix a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, in a green setting.

Close to the city of Bayeux, its cathedral, its tapestry, its historic center and its amenities, you will be ideally located to enjoy the charm of the Bessin countryside while having quick access to sites linked to the Landing: museums, memorials, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, Longues sur Mer, etc...

Whether you want to immerse yourself in history, enjoy the local markets and taste the Normandy region, stroll along the ports, (re)discover the flowery coast and its prestigious seaside resorts (Cabourg, Honfleur, Deauville, etc.) , you will be in the right place here.

You can obviously choose to enjoy the many beaches while savoring a treat, the Gîte de la Paix being located just 7 km from the first beach which will allow you to access all the others.

Beautiful gite with lovely decor and the most amazing shower, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lovely gardens with pool and tennis court and bookable wood heated hot tub if you wish. Lovely peaceful setting. Thankyou to our hosts Arnaud and Jessica for a perfect holiday.

Wir hatten wundervolle Tage bei Arnaud und Jessica. Das Grundstück ist ein Traum, alles sehr gepflegt. Im Ferienhaus fehlte es uns an nichts. Arnaud half immer umgehend, wenn Fragen waren. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Great stay, really comfortable and great value

The apartment is well located for the various beaches and the town of Bayeux. Arnaud and Jessica were great, welcoming us and making sure we were happy. Great space and well decorated with lots of amenities. The tennis court was a great addition for the end of the day and I’m sure the swimming pool would have been a hit if it was warmer. Thanks again

Hidden gem

This property was a haven for relaxation just very close to Bayeux and Normandy beaches. The apartment was spotless and modern. The hosts were wonderful and very tentative. Highly recommend.

Parfait

3 nuits passées dans ce gîte en famille. Tout était parfait: environnement très calme avec un magnifique jardin zen. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires qui sont très accueillants et à l'écoute. Ils sont également de très bon conseil pour les visites aux alentours.

Incredible host and a stunning property and location.

This property can only be described as perfection. Set in the beautiful village of le manoir , convenient and peaceful .The house was spacious , pristinely cleaned and very warm . The gardens were stunning . Situated next to the village church with easy access to Bayeux. Arnaud our host was extremely attentive and spoke perfect English.He accomadated us early on our arrival day and provided safe and secure parking for our motorcycles. I would highly recommend this property to fellow touring motorcyclists. We will definitely be returning .Thank you Arnaud.
