The city has been selected as an official base camp for the Algerian national team, meaning you may have the rare opportunity to watch World Cup athletes train right in your backyard.

Getting to Kansas City couldn't be easier. Lawrence is served by ConnectKC26, a dedicated shuttle service connecting Lawrence's central bus station directly to the Kansas City FIFA Fan Festival at the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Shuttles run every 20–30 minutes from June 11 through July 13, covering the full tournament window, with 215+ motorcoaches operating regionwide. Leave the car behind, skip the parking headaches, and arrive at the matches relaxed and ready. Fares are expected to be announced in early 2026.

The Space

Thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed, this apartment blends architectural distinction with genuine comfort. Every detail has been considered — from the high-quality linens to the organic bath products — so you can settle in and feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Both bedrooms feature queen beds, large flat-screen televisions, generous closets with custom organizers, and plenty of natural light. The two full bathrooms each include a large, luxurious soaking tub — a welcome retreat after a full day of World Cup excitement.

Need to get some work done? No problem. The apartment includes two dedicated desks and comfortable workspace for up to three people, plus a cozy den and library room with dual TV screens — perfect for catching every match, splitting up to watch different games, or simply unwinding with a movie.

The Kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen features a professional gas-fired oven and stove and is stocked with all the cooking basics you need to prepare meals at home. Whether you're cooking a full dinner for the family or just making breakfast before heading out, you'll have everything you need.

The Sauna

One of the apartment's most distinctive features is its traditional Finnish sauna — a rare and wonderful amenity that will become your favorite way to end each evening. Authentic, beautifully crafted, and ready for you to enjoy. Please note: Guests using the sauna are required to sign a waiver and follow safety instructions.
