"Nice clean rooms. Comfy beds. The toilets are communal but there’s lots of them so we never waited for them. It actually speeded us all up getting ready as we had a toilet each in the morning. Free supplies for breakfast and a fully functioning kitchen. Big car park too. The only negative was the check in process. You collect keys from the bar and there was a party on so we had to wait half an hour for someone to come with the keys "

"The Radison Blu was a very upscale hotel sitting right on the River Shannon in Atlone. A short walk across bridge to Castle & old town. The room was quiet, clean & well appointed . We appreciated them being able to allow us early check in. The Double overlooking the River was quite large & the bathroom very updated. "We booked two rooms at this property only to be told upon arrival that they had misread the booking and only were in a position to give us one room, this was due to the fact they had just sold the other room, good way of making extra money. We did ask the hotel for a return on the other rooms cost but they declined and laughed saying well at least we have one room for you.
