Beautiful!

Lovely and clean! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the option to have some breakfast items in place for our first morning. The property is located near the cable line, which is in part of the view. Taking trash out is a bit of an effort. This wasn't really shown or mentioned in the photos/description. Sue is a lovely host.

Fantastic setting and great property (quiet and exceptionally equipped.) Easy to communicate with Sue throughout our stay. Only negatives: 1)183 steep steps down to property and up spiral staircase (difficult for some and with luggage) and 2) lots of required cleanup rules upon departure, which, given the cost, should really be the owners responsibility (especially dropping off garbage in town in multiple locations.) But we loved our stay!

Beautiful Chalet

Sue provided us an outstanding guest experience. Her communication was excellent and she checked in on us both on arrival and prior to departure. Beautiful property that was well furnished and appointed. Super location for both view and only a 2 min walk from the local tram station.

Amazing stay in beautiful Murren.

Communication with Sue was excellent. She provided all the information needed for a perfect stay. The apartment was light, bright and decorated beautifully. The view was beyond amazing. Sitting on the balcony in the evenings was very special. Murren is a wonderful destination filled with quaint shops and restaurants. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect retreat in the Alps with a stunning view

Sue's apartment has been an excellent choice. The pictures are very accurate and the view from the balcony is even better. Mürren itself is a great starting point for hiking or just relaxing and enjoying the view with a coffee in the center of the village. Sue was very attentive, welcomed us warmly and responded instantly to questions. Absolutely recommending this place!

Swiss Alps Perfection

Our stay in Murren at the Chalet Traumli was perfect. Sue and Nick’s communication was timely and spot on. They gave very helpful advice, and the flat itself was extremely well equipped with a view beyond anything we could have imagined. We stayed for three nights and had Swiss Fondue every night. Murren is a perfect location for hiking and sightseeing, and we loved the fact there were no cars and transportation from Interlaken included a train, a cable car, and a gondola. The only downside was we didn’t have enough time to see and do all we had planned…we’ll be back.

Beautiful location

The apartment is in the perfect location, in the village of Murren. It has better views than the pictures show and is close to the tram. The apartment has everything you would need. Sue, the owner, is most gracious and helpful I have ever dealt with. I would recommend this apartment and Murren to use as your base for any outdoor activities.

The highlight of our trip

After 45 years, I was returning to the Mürren area. Several times I was asked about what changes I'd noticed, and I always gave the same answer: "Well, the biggest thing I've noticed is that they've made all the trails and roads a little steeper and the steps a little higher . . ." Our hosts for the three nights we spent there were Nick and Sue. I had corresponded with them prior to our arrival and found them helpful with answers and planning. Upon arrival, Nick was extremely helpful with helping us in a number of ways. He was cheerful, tireless, and very friendly. In fact, the village of Mürren was full of friendly, welcoming people. I was able to share my music at a number of hotels and restaurants and cafes, something that is unheard of in the US. I experienced going into a hotel restaurant with my guitar and being asked by the staff there if I was going to play. Incredible! And so many people came up to me afterwards, expressing appreciation for my music. Even a large number of young people came to me and said my music was "amazing" and "awesome". Yes, my ego was quite difficult to manage for a time there. I also had contacted a "Hostel" (hotel) there in nearby Gimmelwald, a village where I had spent a month 45 years previously at the youth hostel that was there at that time, and asked if I might be able to play there (again, after 45 years). They arranged for me to do a concert there, and it went very well. A wonderful evening. My thanks to Roman, the proprieter of the "Mountain Hostel" where the event took place, and to NIck (again) for diligently spreading the word around town about it. I am so very grateful. And Willow, thank you for your help and encouragement (Willow worked at the Café Liv). We loved the accomodations, the best of our trip. The views were incredible, again the best of our trip (and there were great views in many of the locations we visited). Thank you so much, Nick and Sue. I doubt that we'll ever be able to make it to Switzerland again, but if we do, I very much hope to see you again. You helped make our trip so very wonderful. Thank you, thank you!

Hiking holiday in Murren

Murren is idyllic and this property provided us with a perfect base of operations for the week. The apartment is clean, modern, well furnished, and has a beautiful view from the balcony. Communication with Sue (owner) were very smooth and she gave us some great tips to help us enjoy our stay. Would look forward to returning!

This is a perfect spot to get away from it all and experience true Swiss Alps culture and hospitality. Sue and her husband are wonderful hosts and the town of Mürren is simply magical.

Comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view!

We were very comfortable in our roomy chalet apartment in Murren! Comfy living area furniture and a quiet, cozy bedroom made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed when we wanted to cook in. In fact, we were greeted with the makings for coffee and hot chocolate, just to get us started. The chalet is well situated in Murren, close to the Schilthorn lift and easy walking distance anywhere in town. We absolutely loved the town, the hikes and the awesome accommodations.

Perfect in Mürren

The apt. was the perfect location in Mürren for hiking. We were easily able to hike from town or catch the super convenient cable car. Sue and Nick were great hosts and gave us the lay of the land and were available for emailed questions later. The apt was really nice, had a fabulous view and all the comforts of home.

Perfect home base for an Alpine advemture

Perched above the Lauterbrunnen valley, with panoramic views of the Schwarz Monch and Jungfrau, Sue and Nick’s apartment was wonderful, relaxing and perfectly outfitted. Sue was super responsive and the Wednesday hike to the Schithalp dairy with Nick is not to be missed. We can’t wait to return!!!!

Perfection!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our 5 night stay at Chalet Traumli. It was everything mentioned in the description and pictures and even more! Sue's husband, Nick, met us at the cable car to take us to the chalet which is short walk from the cable car station. He helped us with our bags too--quite the gentleman. After arriving at the apartment, he patiently reviewed everything there. No guesswork on our part. It's a beautifully designed, compact, and yet spacious apartment. No details are overlooked. Fluffy towels and bathrobes, modern kitchen with espresso machine, and excellent wi-fi. It's a totally peaceful location and a quick walk into town and the local Co-Op grocery store for supplies. We often ate our breakfast and dinner on the balcony as the views are the best we've ever seen. You can almost reach out and touch the mountains. Murren and Chalet Traumli were the centerpiece of our trip. It exceeded our expectations.

The most amazing chalet in the most amazing place

This chalet was amazing with gorgeous unobstructed views of the mountains right out the front window and balcony. The balcony has chairs and a small table to eat breakfast on while admiring the mountains. The chalet was clean and had all the essentials if not more with some welcoming thoughtful touches. Our host met us and guided us to the chalet which was off the main road in a more remote location. There is a lot of stairs to get to and from the chalet but it is totally worth it. You will be torn between exploring the outdoors or enjoying how nice the chalet is. Being in this chalet allows you to still enjoy the scenery while you are relaxing. It is in a great location close To hiking trails, the cable car up to the Schilthorn, and restaurants and Coop (food store). I am already planning our return trip!

Cozy Cabin

We spent four days at Chalet Traumli in late August 2017. The cabin has a great view of the Alps from its balcony and plenty of natural light from two skylights in the kitchen/living area. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Sue welcomes you at the gondola station and is a great source of information for things to do in the area. I highly recommend it!

Incredible apartment in spectacular location

Our favourite stay during our 3 week Switzerland holiday ! Everything was great and kitchen was well equipped ( including expresso machine ) . Very clean and modern. Skylights really effective ! Lots of local information was provided . Communication with host was fine . Even though she was away , we were well looked after by her friend Ann Marie. Dinner on the deck was especially memorable. Co-op in town was convenient for groceries . Murren is a superb location as a base for exploring Jungfrau region especially if you enjoy peaceful , quiet evenings . Great hiking just out the door . I even did the tandem paragliding ! My wife and I both highly recommend Sue 's chalet and we would love to return !

This place went beyond our expectations. Simply beautiful! Amazing views from the lovely apartment!

We absolutely loved this place, and hope to come back again. The owners were so helpful and friendly, and the apartment so comfortable and well furnished. The view from the living room window is spectacular, with a panorama of snow capped peaks. It is located near some of the best hiking in the region. An unforgettable experience!!!

A great and modern Chalet with a capitel "C"

Big enough for 4 persons and room enough for al the luggage and clothing. Very quiet at day and night, very near the cable car and the good restaurant Alpenruh. Skiing can be changed easily with nice walks and visits to Lauterbrunnen or Wengem nearby, mountaintrain, cable car and busses are always on (Swiss) time. The steep acces to the Chalet demands a mindset, but is good for your condition, in general, certainly a return visit will be planned in the future.
