Prancing Doe is 1 of 4 cabins (Friendly Fawn, Button Buck, Trophy Buck) that are perfect for small groups or romantic getaways, when booked alone! Or... If you are looking for the perfect alternative for family and friends that enjoy each other's company by day but the privacy of their own space at night, then booking all 4 cabins at Whitetail Ridge will give you just that! The entire property can accommodate up to 20 guests. This is the perfect spot for family fun or romantic evenings, stargazing in the private hot tubs, snuggling in front of the fireplace, or a place where your mind, body, and soul will relax and become one with nature. This spacious property is an ideal place for a relaxing couple’s getaway, or an adventure filled family vacation. We offer one and two bedroom cabins in a wooded setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Hocking Hills. Friendly Fawn and Button Buck each have one bedroom with queen bed and a sleeper sofa accommodating up to 4 guests. Prancing Doe and Trophy Buck each have 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a sleeper sofa accommodating up to 6 guests. Trophy Buck has a finished basement/party room that can be accessed via a spiral staircase from the 1st floor or from the outdoor patio. The party room has a foosball table, bar, electronic dart board, and an excellent sound system. Each cabin has a private hot tub, satellite TV, free WIFI, fire ring and a charcoal grill. Whitetail Ridge Cabins may be reserved individually or combined to accommodate up to 20 guests. Old Mans's Cave and Hocking Hills State Park are a short 8-mile drive through the rolling hills. Hocking Hills Canopy Tours is easily reached 13 miles away. For those who don't want to leave the property, there is a catch and release fishing pond on the property and The Blue Moon Acres Horseback Riding Center is located just across the road.

This cabin is the perfect size for a group of 4! It has all of the basics you’d need (we appreciated the abundance of towels). Hot tub is peaceful and relaxing. Your neighbors are close, but not uncomfortably close - we felt safe at all times.We’ll definitely be back again!

Perfect waterfall location

I didn't realize just how far from "town" this cabin was. No big deal we made sure to make ours trips to town worthwhile. It was perfectly located for the waterfall's and hiking though, which was why we came. Inside of the cabin was very nice and clean. The back deck could uae a bit of a cleaning, but being deep in the woods that's to be expected. No issues and I would stay again and recommend.

Very nice cabin

Cute little cabin in the woods. About 10mins from Hocking hills. Love that they had lots of towels for the shower and hot tub (which was excellent and clean). Shower was a bit small for my 6'4" husband but that isn't an uncommon! A.C. worked great and they had everything we needed to cook dinner for 3 of our nights there.

The location was private but still close enough to all of the great hiking spots and Logan. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. We were very happy with our stay.

Wife Weekend Getaway

We loved the cabin and the scenery! Everything was easy to access. We also enjoyed waking up to the sound of horses every morning. All in all it was peaceful and we had a great time!

Descent cabin for a short getaway.

Overall it was good. I didn’t realize there were other cabins close by. I thought it would have been more secluded. In addition, I think the cabin should have ant traps, fly swatter and small plug in night lights for the rooms. Especially if there are small kids staying to help them see at night in the bedroom or walking to the bathroom. Also, the binder needs updated.
