Discover your perfect woodland escape in this authentic log cabin set on five private acres. The space is designed for comfort and relaxation for up to four guests.

* **Living Area:** An open-concept layout combines the living room and kitchen, featuring a cozy indoor gas fireplace, comfortable seating, and Wi-Fi for your convenience. It's the perfect spot for board games, reading, or enjoying a meal together.
* **Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps 4):**
* Private Bedroom: 1 King-sized bed.
* Living Room: 1 Queen-sized sofa bed.

* **Outdoor Oasis:**
* Private deck with a relaxing hot tub.
* Propane fire pit for easy evening ambiance.
* Separate wood-burning fire pit tucked into the woods.
* Gas grill (propane provided).
* Charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal).

**Guest Access:**
Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire log cabin and the surrounding 5 acres of wooded property. Enjoy complete privacy during your stay. Entry is seamless with keyless access; keypad codes are provided for both the front and back doors. Your access code will be sent 2 to 3 days before your arrival, ensuring a convenient self-check-in process.

**Interaction With Guests**
We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their retreat. We are not on-site, but we are always available via phone or the messaging app if you have any questions or need assistance during your stay. Your comfort is our priority.

**Other Details to Note**
To ensure a smooth and prepared stay, please review the following details:
* **Pre-Arrival Requirement:** A short-term rental agreement must be signed, and a copy of your driver's license must be provided before your arrival. Your unique access code for the keyless entry will be sent 2-3 days before check-in, once these items are received.
* **Registration:** Hocking County Registration #00466.
* **Fire Pits:** Firewood for the wood-burning pit may be available under the deck near the hot tub. We recommend bringing a lighter for both the fire pit and the charcoal grill.
* **Grills:** A propane tank is provided for the gas grill. Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid if you wish to use the charcoal grill.
* **Provided for You:** A hairdryer and curling iron are located under the bathroom sink for your use.
* **What to Bring:** We do not supply personal toiletries. Please remember to pack your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

dishes, put them away, and tidy the cabin. Due to the remoteness of the cabin, there is no land phone and limited cell phone service. In the winter,
it is recommended that all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles be used with our driveway. There is no guarantee of the availability of any amenities.

We had the best weekend! The cabin is so cozy!! There is a guide book that is very helpful. Katie is a wonderful host and was quick to respond when I had questions. I managed to make a Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and I while we were there. We loved seeing the cows down the road, the neighbors cat that was very friendly and followed us up the driveway, it’s in close proximity to so many adventures! And the community is very friendly as well. We loved the stay here.

Host was very welcoming. Amenities on the other hand were very lacking. Hot tub water was greenish, propane tank for deck fire pit was empty, carpet needed swept, there were crumbs on it. No sheets or blanket for sofa sleeper, or extra blankets period.

Cabin was nice and clean. Outdoor propane fire was a nice addition since there is a current burn ban for all of Ohio for campfires, etc.Hot Tub needs work. Only one seat actually works for relaxation bubbles, one seat doesn't work at all, disappointed in the hot tub.Propane grill was a huge hit, grilled out both nights and had good food.Small orange kitty visited us everyday, what a cutey!

It was great!

The cabin is exactly as it appears in the listing.The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was fantastic, and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. They had a good selection of board games and a surprisingly impressive DVD collection (we didn't actually watch any, but we appreciated it, probably the best movie collection I've seen at a vacation rental). Both the front and back patios are very peaceful and serene places to take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the woods.We didn't use the grill or fire pits, so I can't comment on those, but they looked good.The location was great. It feels remote, but it's a very quick (5-ish minutes) drive to the nearby town of Laurelville and a little over 20 minutes to the Hocking Hills hiking trail that we traversed.If I had to offer negatives, the shower was a bit small and cramped and the floor was a bit sticky in a couple of spots, but these complaints are minor.My wife and I loved our stay for our anniversary, and we would love to rent again if/when we return to the Hocking Hills area.
