My wife and I were very much looking forward to our stay in Laurel. We reserved the property and all was well. Our stay was to be on 3/12 through 3/16. My wife seriously injured her back and I had to reach out to the propert owner Jeff unfortunately on the 9th to let them know of the issue and Jeff responded quickly. This was understandably very late in the process and Jeff said that while their cancellation policy was generally strict they would allow us to switch dates to the following weekend. I thought that was super nice of him. He asked me to let him know if I could make that work and equally disappointing, I was not able to switch my days off. I reached back out to Jeff to let him know and to ask if it was possible to either receive a refund or asked if we could use our reservation for another agreeable time, and from that point on he complety ignored my messages. I did receive further automated messages welcoming us and and also hoping we had a great time which added further insult to the situation. The apartment looks great, and my wife and I were so looking forward to staying there and visiting the home location of one of our very favorite shows "Hometown" but now to be honest the way we were treated has made this destination lose some of its allure. Again, I understand about the cancelation policy being strict, but the idea of offering a solution and then completely ignoring me was very insulting and poor management/ ownership. Very shameful actions Jeff.
