Perfect for a romantic getaway. Beautiful, clean, comfortable cottage with an awesome view of Lake Nepessing. Open floor plan, with newly remodeled kitchen and new appliances, remodeled bathroom, new wood floors through-out. Walking distance to Lapeer Golf Country Club and one of Lapeer's best restaurant Lake Inn located on the lake. You’re just minutes away from putt-putt golf, go-carts, a driving range and downtown Lapeer. Enjoy fishing off the dock and fireworks on the lake during the 4th of July. A fabulous patio to enjoy the gorgeous view while roasting marshmallows in the backyard fire-pit. Relax under the trees while swaying on your hammock, with a drink in your hand. This property has a sandy beach, great for small children. During the colder seasons enjoy Golf of Ice, Softball on Ice, Pond Hockey, Snowmobile Races & Ice Fishing Tournaments.

Amenities include 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, multiple seating areas, 3 flatscreen TVs, wireless internet, cable, central air for those warm summer nights, ample parking, washer/dryer and much more!

Very clean!!

This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed besides my own house. I had a small problem getting into the house, but I reached out and was given a solution immediately. I stayed here the day before and the night of my wedding. It was so close to Lapeer Country Club, beyond conventient. Thank you!

Fun for the whole family

This home was well equipped. It met every need. The convenience was much appreciated. The kids loved the beach and the water. The dock was perfect to park our boat. The hosts were easy to contact and very gracious. I would love to stay again!

Great stay

Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay. The home was nicely furnished. We got stuck on our boat in the middle of the lake and neighbors came to rescue us and tow our boat back. Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyable days on an active lake

Well-kept property, modern appliances, A/C. Owners were very responsive. No stairs and easy access for our physically impaired relative. Really enjoyable setting out on the patio watching the boats, water skiing, people fishing, and a couple of hot air balloons.

Lakehouse Birthday Celebration

We rented this property for a staycation for my husband's 65th birthday (five days). The property was neatly maintained and one of the cleanest VRBO's we've encountered and which we truly appreciated. The owners were a breeze to work with and arrival/departure was easy peasy. They certainly thought of pretty much everything. Some kitchen gadgets I didn't know what they were - and I'm a Chef by hobby. They even came to freshen up the grass and yard so it would be perfect for our family's celebration on Saturday and while you cannot use the pontoon (someone ruined it for everyone else "sad face") the owner was so very kind to offer to take us and our few guests for a ride around the lake! So sweet. We were met with a cool thunderstorm on Friday afternoon, followed by not one, but two rainbows and the resident Bald Eagle. Then Saturday morning got to watch a sea plane land on the lake while sipping our morning coffee. So - a lot of unexpected twists which just added to our stay. Needless to say, my husband had a wonderful birthday and we had a lovely time on Lake Nepessing - including a relaxing day in the sun Sunday. The weather couldn't have been more perfect -- which certainly was the icing on his birthday cake! We definitely recommend staying here and definitely look forward to returning again some time !!!

Staycation

Spent spring break away from home,& relaxed! Great amenities, cleanliness,& everything you could ask for in the kitchen. Played monopoly, & took out the canoe. Beautiful sunrise & sunsets over the lake!

A Local Family Staycation

This cottage getaway was exactly what our family was looking for. Even though we are local to the area, this location had access to Lake Nepessing, which was a plus. We brought our pontoon to the launch and were able to dock it at the cottage throughout our stay. The beautiful cottage had plenty of space indoors and outdoors for us to rest, cook mingle and just sit and relax with a great view of the lake. The parking and amenities offered were perfect. The beds were also very comfy after full days on the lake making memories. Many thanks to the hosts for answering quickly to our inquiries and any concerns we had. We hope to stay here again in the future.

Beautiful home

We expected a cottage. This is a home. It is tastefully decorated. The furniture and beds are all comfortable. You can even enjoy a view of the lake while in the kitchen. The owners were quicky responsive to questions. I highly recommend this property.

Lapeer Lake House

We had a nice relaxing time visiting family near Lapeer, because we had this wonderful house to return to each evening. It was very clean, the kitchen had new appliances with everything you would need. And for a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I Absolutely Love this place we stay every year.

The Lake is pristine and the place is immaculately clean. Love the boat dock in front of the house. I LOOOVE this place and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay on the lake we have stayed 4 years in a row. Love, Love , Love it. And they extra clean and sanitize for Covid.

“Lake House”

We had an incredibly relaxing stay at the this property. Cathie and Mike were very accommodating extending my stay, three times, and could not have been more hospitable and responsive from beginning to end. The home is fully and well appointed, well kept and appropriate for individuals, couples and mature families alike. The space of perfect as we were two couples this trip with family gathering here and there I can not say enough good things, location of the property on the north side of the lake, the outdoor area directly on the water affords just enough privacy and a wonderful views from dusk until dawn, all the amenities you need just minutes up the road in the town of Lapeer, walking distance to a great local eatery and sports establishment on the water. I look forward to revisiting “Our Lake House”, as we kindly referenced it to one another during our stay. We hope to return to experience a different time of the year at this great getaway. Bravo and kind regards to Cathie and Mike!

Great relaxing lake home near Lapeer Country Club

This is truly an awesome home, very close to the Lake Inn and the Lapeer Country Club. If you are attending an event at the LCC, this is the place to rent rather than a standard Hotel!! The house is very nicely decorated, with a lovely deck overlooking the lake. We didn't have time for a bonfire, but it was already set up for us to use. The inside is very cute, with a nautical flare to it. It is fully stocked with everything you could ever want. The communication with the Owner was very responsive. It was also incredibly clean inside and out and we are all so grateful for that. This is truly what a great rental should be like--welcoming, clean, well decorated and well supplied. Thank you very much to the Owners for making our son's wedding weekend so easy and comfortable!!!

Family reunion

Great property on lake. Attended a family reunion and entertained a few on the back at the lake. Fireworks on the lake were great and a surprise. Lake inn is a nice restaurant. Had a wonderful time.
