About this space
Tucked in the bluffs with gorgeous views of Lansing Iowa. Secluded and surrounded by trees and bluffs.Walking distance, or minutes from the heart of town. Unplug and relax with this quiet scenic acreage and still have all the amenities of town at your fingertips. Shoot some pool, relax in an enclosed hot tub room, grill on the deck, relax on the porch or just enjoy a fire under the stars overlooking Lansing.
The space
Stairs are steep as this house is built on a ridge.
3 floors. Basement, main level, and second level.

Main floor-1 bedroom with 1 queen, 1 bath, living room, dining, kitchen, and pool table room.
2nd floor-1 bedroom with 1 full bed, 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed, 1 bedroom with 2 queen beds, 1 bathroom, 1 living room with 1 queen sleeper sofa

Other things to note
4WD or AWD vehicles are a must in the winter.

The driveway is paved but is steep and is also shared with one neighbor. Please don’t bother him.

This house is the last one on the driveway all the way up.

3 night minimum stay Memorial Day to Labor Day on weekends.

Hot tub is available year round.

Pets are allowed but it’s one time $50 charge PER pet.

Normes

3 night minimum stay on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your stay includes fri or sat then it needs to be 3 nights.
Pool available from 1st weekend in June to 1st weekend in September. We try to have pools open sooner and keep open longer but each year is different.
2 night minimum stay all weekends not included in the summer weekend rule. So if your stay includes Friday or Saturday it must be 2 nights.

Fabulous relaxing weekend away

We had a wonderful, yet quick get together. Five 40 something women who have been friends since preschool. The location was quiet and quaint. The house was very clean and well kept. We had plenty of space to all have our own bed and gather comfortably together. The hot tub was perfect. Pool was not up and running yet, too really in the year. Be aware that there are steps into the house and within the house that are a bit steep. We had no problems with them though. We will be back!
