We had a wonderful time! Everything was fabulous and the house had everything we needed. The view was spectacular and we loved seeing all the wildlife.

Great Family Trip

The house was great, and the hosts were amazing to work with. There’s so much to do at the house (fish, kayak, etc) and it’s a great location to get to popular Williamsburg activities.

Early Spring Stay in VA

We had a great stay, the house was clean, cozy, and had so many amenities available to us that made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a very quiet location with beautiful views. The house was fully equipped with all the essentials. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and bikes provided with the house. We would definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic spot! So quiet, so clean, so convenient to the attractions we wanted to visit - and so well stocked! The only downside was that we visited during the July Heat Dome with 100 degree temps, so it wasn't comfortable to take advantage of the lakeside outdoor areas. However, with the expansive windows, we were able to enjoy the views from the blessedly cool living room. We can't say enough about our great hosts, too. We had a slight problem with the entry code, but that was resolved very quickly. Nothing but kudos to the Reynolds for providing such great hospitality and accommodations.

2nd time - we enjoy the home again

This was our second time staying at Hidden Haven. The home has been well maintained and the owners are very accomodating and we really enjoyed our stay. We plan on returning the next time our travel plans bring us this way again.

A relaxing stay

The cottage was very nicely appointed, cozy and clean. We enjoyed hanging out around the fire pit and the quiet surroundings. We checked out Williamsburg and Fort Monroe which are easy drives. Our stay was just what we needed.

Peaceful escape with easy access to history

The property was located central to numerous Civil War battlefields and sites we wanted to visit during our week long vacation this summer. The location allowed day trips to Richmond, Fort Monroe, and Petersburg while offering a peaceful retreat to play board games, kayak or go fishing after a busy day.

Great Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Heaven Lake House. The kids enjoyed kayaking on the water. The location was very peaceful and relaxing. The host, Joyce, was very accommodating and a great host. We would stay again.

Fun stay

Property was everything listed and more. It's so nice to go on vacation and have linens and towels and a full kitchen at your disposal. Also nice to have a washer and dryer. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent Stay

My 16 yo daughter and I had a long weekend here. We had the best time! The house is beautiful! Joyce supplies everything you need! We hope to be back with the rest our family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing property! Super clean! We will definitely be back! The sky is so clear and dark here that you can actually see part of the Milky Way! The host was very accommodating!

Incredibly maintained and thought through

A group of us stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. This place was extremely clean and had literally everything you can think of. Super pleased and def will be back! Thank you Renyolds family see you next year!

39th Wedding Anniversary get away

Our stay was amazing . The cottage was beautifully decorated and cleanliness was spotless !! The owner Joyce was wonderful . The setting couldn’t have been more relaxing and romantic with the cottage overlooking the lake . We had a wonderful time and have recommended it to 4 other people already . We definitely want to visit again !

Just as great as advertised!

The house was immaculate and the extra touches were very much appreciated. The view is so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the nostalgic ad signage in the kitchen and the comfort and decoration of the home. Thank you, host was very responsive when there were questions.. we hope to return for another restful weekend!

Perfect getaway- extraordinarily beautiful setting, immaculately clean, perfect amenities. Host was extremely helpful and kind. Kitchen thoroughly equipped. Quick and easy drive to area attractions. Thrilled with all outdoor activities made possible by provided kayaks, bikes, boats! Amazing!
