    While exploring the Hocking Hills we’ve got you covered for the in-between times. There is a playground for the kids, high-speed internet with wifi for all your devices, a spacious yard for your dog(s) to enjoy and peace and quiet for you... it doesn’t get much better than this!

    Entire property, no shared spaces.

    I do not live on site. However, I`m only a phone call or message away if something is needed.

    Explore Hocking Hills and nearby parks like Rising Park and Clear Creek Metro

    If a guest has limited mobility, there are 2 steps to get onto the covered porch. We do have a portable ramp that can be left if requested for wheel chair. Wheel chair accessibility on the first floor for access to kitchen, bathroom, family room, and first-floor bedroom. Please let me know prior to booking what accommodations would be needed for your stay.

    Please remember that you`re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
    - Age 25 and older for primary guest that will be staying the whole reservation

    - No more than 2 dogs. Must notify prior to arrival. Dogs have to be kept on leash outdoors.

    -Do not wander into neighbors` property. Please stay within the orange flagged areas.

    - Two sets of stairs, one leading upstairs and one leading to walk out basement. Please bring your expandable gates if needed for small children.

The host was very responsive and great, she helped every way possible including giving us recommendations of places to visit. I would do it all again. My family enjoyed themselves.

The house was amazing. The host was even better. She knew we had children and were coming into town for Easter, and made sure to make them at Easter basket. It really stood out to us and was very kind.We will definitely be booking again

Everything in previous reviews are still a problem... Dishwasher, kitchen cupboards unorganized and too full, no closet space, shower leaking, upstairs fans not working, etcHouse is large and could be very nice.

Considering my goal was something better and more cost effective than a hotel for my large group, this was overall a good experience. The house needs a little TLC to fix up a few things such as better lighting, some landscape tidying, organizing seasonal items and kitchen supplies, cleaning up or replacing outdoor furniture, and not sure why but there was a full length extension ladder laying in the front yard. That being said, Elizabeth was quick and polite in her responses, and seems to genuinely care about her guests. The house is private and secluded, yet not a crazy distance from civilization! We enjoyed our stay. The hidden playroom upstairs was a hit with my 3 year old daughter!

Elizabeth was a wonderful host! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. We had a great stay and really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the house. Communication was easy and smooth from start to finish.The only minor issue we noticed was that the water pressure was a bit low at times, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience.We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this home to others. Thank you again, Elizabeth—we would be happy to come back!

Nice cabin in the country. Property is very private, you don’t even know that there are nearby homes. Very nice location not far from Hocking Hills.

The property was in a nice location and felt secluded. It needs a lot of TLC. The deck area was a mess, the hot tub needs attention. The basement(game area) was dirty. One of the arcade games didnt work. There was broken drawer in kitchen, a coffee pot with moldy coffee grounds, a disgusting deep fryer. The property is overgrown and could have used the grass cut. One of the twin beds in loft area seemed to have broken box springs. It would be nice to have TV's in the bedrooms. The firepit area needs attention. It was a mess with random chairs and cushions thrown about. The firepit needed cleaned out.

Great stay! Good location for many activities in yhe Hocking Hills area. Close to stores and restaurants as well. Host communicates very well!

House is in a great location to experience the relaxing vibe Hocking Hills has to offer. Kids loved playing all the games in the basement and trying to make a fire even though it rained the majority of the time we were there. The house itself is really not set up as a full time vacation rental. We had to unload dishes that were left in the dishwasher, unload laundry that was left in the dryer. We ended up hand washing all plates upon arrival as most were not clean or sticky. The closets in many of the rooms are unusable as there is stuff shoved in there. The basement has a ton of exposed storage items under the stairs and the laundry room was extremely disorganized. Again, was a nice stay but it felt like we were borrowing someone’s house and not renting a house for vacation.

Perfect family getaway

The owner was very helpful, friendly and available to answer any questions we had about the property and the area during our stay. We loved the house, it was very family/kid friendly, we had a fantastic weekend!

Very Pleasant Stay

Cool arcade games, nice pool table, lovely bed rooms and great kitchen. The hot tub and fireplace were super nice for the cold weather and we were close to all the hiking in Hocking Hills.

Very good for families with children. Tiny bit of an issue with water pressure when everyone was trying to get ready in the morning. Inside very clean. Outside was good, but maybe a power wash? Overall, a great stay. Host was very responsive. Easy check in.
