Chose this location because it was pet friendly with a hot tub. It was only meant to be a two day stay, just a quick getaway to soak in the hot tub and enjoy a few nights. Everything on the property was fine except the hot tub. The hot tub water looks like dirty dish water. I brought this to the attention of the host who didn’t even offer an apology. Just stated he checked the pH level of the day of, the minerals in the water make it look like that, but he guarantees it’s sanitary. I personally don’t care about the pH and chlorine levels when the water looks as disgusting as that, who would want to sit in that. I did address this with the host directly before placing this review and again not even an apology would not recommend and will not be returning.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The area was so peacefull and serene. Just what we needed. Everything was clean and fresh. The ONLY thing I wish I knew is there is not a water softener. The hard water is not long hair friendly. :( Nothing a Malibu treatment cant fix!All in all, I would certainly stay again.

A nice, fairly secluded place to relax and rejuvenate. The location was great! One of the most well stocked VRBOs that we have been to and loved the fact we could vacation with our pups! We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. One recommendation is to bring water for coffee and consumption, which isn’t that big of deal. The well water is a little cloudy.

John was an excellent host. Very accommodating and responsive with any questions or concerns. The house was quiet and clean with a nice view of a pond from the front of the home and hot tub. We were able to grill out on the charcoal grill and have bonfires with s'mores.

Very clean place and easy check in. Unfortunately, we came during a drought so the stream didn't have much water in it but I can see where it would be nice when it does. It was beautiful with the changing leaves and the reflection off the lake. Had a minor issue that the host couldn't have necessarily known, but it was resolved quickly, while we were out hiking. So very responsive to the issue that did come up.

Very clean and lovely home. Hot tub and fireplace was very nice to use. I wish the property its self was clean from weeds and grass mowed so myself and friends could enjoy the beautiful view of woods and pond. Also wish it would have been noted not to close closet door with hot tub towels as it locked when we did and were unable to have access all weekend. Very convenient that utensils for cooking and dining, pots/pans, and cookware are accessible. Overall, would book again!

Peaceful getaway

This cottage was so lovely! There were so many accommodations and everything was wonderfully stocked. The owner was easy to communicate with. It was so clean and cozy. My 24 year old son and 11 year old daughter loved the hot tub as did I. I could go on and on but long story short this is a great place for a quiet family getaway and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful!!

All went well!! It was too short of a trip though!! It just went by too quickly! The house is amazing - especially when you look at the picture of how it used to be!! The weather didn’t totally cooperate but we made the best of our stay! Too hot for the hot tub and too rainy for the amazing fire pit!!We would definitely stay again!!
