"I had an excellent stay, as always. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet and airy, with beautiful flowers and bird in the garden. And with a short walk to the wonderful Lalibela churches, it is the perfect place to stay. "

"Contrary to some of the review I'd read the hotel was lovely. I had room 10 and, whereas it was a bit basic and old fashioned, it was very clean and no fleas/bedbugs in sight. I had my own bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Nice courtyard, too."

"Great service, huge villas, traditional dishes were very good. WiFi is so-so and only available in reception and restaurant. Nice big pool if you’re there when it’s hot enough. Hot water and huge showers. Incredible views and beautiful landscaping. "

"This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend."
