Seek the Lakehouse offers the rare combination of true lakefront living and a spacious outdoor area designed for fun, relaxation, and connection. While our indoor main-level living and kitchen areas are cozy, the outdoor space is where this lakehouse really shines! Multiple patio hangout areas, a large yard, fire pit, and private waterfront give everyone plenty of room to spread out and enjoy lake life.

You’ll have full access to your private dock for swimming, fishing, or docking your own boat—or a rental during your stay. Guests also receive 10% off with Aloha Boat Rentals.

On the main level, you’ll find a bright, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. The living room is cozy and designed for relaxing after a day on the lake.

The dining area comfortably seats 6, with extra chairs available to accommodate up to 8 guests. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including a refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of kitchen essentials. A full bathroom is also located just off the main living area.

Upstairs, you’ll find four uniquely themed bedrooms with plenty of space for your group to settle in:

Lakehouse Retreat — Queen bed + private sink
Horse Lodge — Queen bed + private sink
Fisherman’s Cove — Two twin beds + Smart TV
Camp Sawmill — Two twin beds + bean bag lounge seating + Smart TV

Camp Sawmill also makes a great additional hangout space, especially for kids and teens, with games, puzzles, and a Smart TV. All four bedrooms have easy access to the upstairs full bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub/shower combination.

Outside, there’s plenty of room for all 8 guests to gather. The property includes a large front yard and backyard, along with plenty of seating on the outdoor deck, including comfortable rocking chairs. Whether you’re playing yard games, enjoying drinks on the deck, sitting around the campfire, fishing from the dock, or simply relaxing by the water, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the lakefront setting.

Sawmill Lake has a 10 MPH speed limit, making it ideal for peaceful kayaking, fishing, swimming, and relaxing on the water. Follow the Barbee Chain to Big Barbee Lake, an all-sports lake where you can enjoy boating, tubing, water skiing, and more.

A quick note about the space: Seek the Lakehouse comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests, but as a cozy lake cottage, the main-level living and dining areas are most comfortable for groups of around 6 gathering indoors at one time. For groups of 8, extra dining chairs are available, and the upstairs large bedrooms and expansive outdoor areas provide plenty of additional room to spread out. We like to be upfront about the cozy indoor layout so you know exactly what to expect when you arrive!
