Beautiful location!

We had a wonderful time here. The location is perfect, just secluded enough, not too far away from Target for the things you forget to pack. Beautiful lake, and a huge deck. The place was clean and the bed comfy.

Fabulous for quality family time

Cabin was charming and the perfect size for our family of 5 to escape to the woods. Lots of places for the kids to explore, beautiful private and quiet beach. Host was extremely accommodating and responsive.

Peaceful lake getaway

The cabin was nice and had all the essentials we needed. We wanted a quiet lake to just play and float in the water and this was great. Also had a nice view of the sunset from the beach.

Family Friendly, Beautiful Space

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin in Kimball, Mn. The private, sandy beach is where we spent most of our time, the cabin had all the amenities we needed and was very cozy and clean. The wrap around deck was lovely for relaxing and star gazing. Thank you David for a fun and rejuvenating stay! perfeperfect

Beautiful Beach Getaway

If you want both a cozy home, a pristine lake, and a private beach tucked away in the forest, this is the ideal stay! The amenities are very generous without feeling too empty and sterile like a lot of vacation rentals. Be ready to get a bit outdoorsy if you really want to get the most from this space, but the owners do a fantastic job giving you all the tools you need to have a great time.

10 acres of woods and water. Fantastic fireplace, huge deck, the property is just what we hoped for. Cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Plan to rebook nexted summer.

This place is perfect!

I've stayed at this cabin multiple times now. The cabin is so well kept, always super clean. I love the seclusion of the cabin, as it sits on 10 acres of land. Above all the owner of this cabin has been wonderful to work with over the years. He is very responsive and fair. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

Wonderful getaway

This was a wonderful property that was 100% private and had all the amenities of home! The beach was just a few steps away and had the toys we could have wanted and more! As a first time VRBO user, I was extremely impressed by the process of how it works! Kudos to the owners for the property and description of the property!

The cabin and location are fantastic! The wrap around deck allows for quiet coffee mornings and card games at night. You can hear loons calling on the lake! The cabin is clean, spacious, and well stocked. We were very comfortable! I would give 5 stars but the beach area was much more difficult to get than expected and the platform pictured in the listing is no longer there. If you could get to the beach easily and use it as listed it would be 5-stars! Highly recommend

Perfect Winter Setting close to ski/tubing hill

Beautiful private wooded setting on a lake with the ski/tubing hill across the pond. House well maintained with great heating system & the fireplace a plus on a cold winter night. Plenty of room for a family with two separate bedrooms and an additional loft futon. Added perk of laundry on site. Wildlife (herds of deer) added to the quaintness of the property.

Beautiful beach!

Beautiful location and beach! Only downside was the very steep hill to get to the beach! We brought a golf cart so we drove down there. The shower head on main level was very short. My husband had to crouch to use it. But otherwise was very nice!

Close to home get away

This is a lovely place. We live in St. Cloud on 22 acres. In the past 20 years there has been increased development around us. Nice to see, but adds traffic. I’m leaving in a week for a 7 day backpacking hike in the Grand Canyon. This was a perfect property. Miles of hills on gravel roads. And the lake and cabin are so relaxing and peaceful. Highly recommend it.

Memorial weekend lake stay

We started out with a very informative, pleasant email from the owner of the rental. Driving onto the property, we got an immediate feeling of being out in the woods. The house is cozy, well-kept, and very cute. Because it's on a large piece of property, the sandy beach area is very far away from others on the lake, so you get a very private feel. My dogs had a great time exploring the walking trails off-leash, which they usually don't get to do because of people being around. Checking out was not overcomplicated like some rentals can be. We would definitely rent here again.

Perfect getaway cabin for two couples

The large wraparound deck was useful and well-maintained. We could stay in the shade all day long if we wished, simply by moving from one set of deckchairs to another. The woodland setting offered many immediate birdwatching opportunities; however, any direct view of the lake from the deck was obscured by leafed-out vegetation. The beach was sandy and secluded...very peaceful, yet with a shallow lakeshore that would be very appropriate for young children at play.Take note: there is one bedroom and bath on the first floor; the master bedroom-bath suite is on second floor.

This cabin is so charming, nestled in the woods - feels like we are sleeping in the treetops. The little private beach area is wonderful and peaceful. A perfect getaway spot for family to be out in nature!
