  • Ubicado en la comunidad de North Shore codiciado del punto de dólar, en una calle soleada cerca de la orilla del Lago Tahoe, es esta encantadora casa de tres dormitorios listo para ser su campamento base durante una estancia inolvidable en las sierras!

    Durante el verano, tenemos la sensación de que tendrá que pasar mucho de su tiempo de relax en la terraza amplia y soleada, preparando la cena en la parrilla Weber y cenar al aire libre, o sumergirse en el jacuzzi bajo las estrellas. Y estás a un corto paseo de la piscina (0. 3 millas) y de la playa (0. 6 millas).

    Esta casa de vacaciones ha sido totalmente reformado, y el espacio interior es acogedor y confortable para grupos de todos los tamaños. Los ventanales permiten que la luz llene el salón principal, y amplios centros de asientos en torno a un nuevo televisor de pantalla plana y chimenea de madera real. Se encuentran dos dormitorios de invitados en esta planta, así como un cuarto de baño completo.     SOBRE LA ZONA

    Situado al este de la ciudad de Tahoe, en la hermosa costa norte del lago Tahoe, se encuentra uno de los vecindarios más codiciados de la zona: Dollar Point. Toda la comunidad reside en el lado del lago de la carretera principal, por lo que es el lugar perfecto para una escapada tranquila y relajante. Con un número de hogares en nuestra cartera situada a pocos pasos el uno del otro, este es el lugar perfecto para una escapada multifamiliares. Y, oh, las comodidades!

    En el verano, Dollar Point realmente no puede ser vencido. Es una de las únicas comunidades de North Shore que ofrece acceso de cortesía a una piscina y una playa privada, ambas a menos de una milla de cualquier hogar en la comunidad. Para aquellos que buscan aventura, coger el carril bici que sale de la comunidad y seguir el río Truckee norte, o visite Tahoe City, el hogar de todo, desde el hogar crecido tiendas de café a orillas del lago restaurantes, todos a pocos minutos.

    2. Si bien esta casa puede alojar a 8 personas, la ocupación máxima es de 6 adultos y 2 niños.
    3. ACTUALIZACIÓN AMENITY DE VERANO 2019: a partir del 24/24/19, la tarifa de acceso de invitado será de $ 10 por persona por día. Los niños menores de 5 años entran gratis. Independientemente de la ocupación del hogar, el acceso a las comodidades está limitado a 8 personas por día.

Amazing stay! You can tell when your property is being managed by a professional property management group. Excellent communication. We were afraid of the windows and the heat, but we found that opening the windows and turning on the fans kept the property at a really pleasant temperature all day long. And we've been visiting Dollar Point for years - incredible location! Thanks!

Worst Experience Ever

I don't expect my review to be published as I'm sure Tahoe Guest Services scrubs the ones they don't like... however, don't rent from this company. The unit we rented was not as advertised and I'll be contacting the HOA within Dollar Point to give full details as well as the better business bureau. The unit had missing window screens, a backed up sink, dirty dishes, broken pans, a broken lock to a patio door, windows that did have a screen required one to prop them open with a wooden spoon in order to stay open, the dishwasher was missing wheels to roll out the trays, the carpet was stained and filthy, cutting boards were stored on the floor of the kitchen, and the hot tub was dirty. I would spend more time giving a review but again, I'm sure it won't be published. Save your money because they won't refund a penny to you. Rent from any other place other than this company and definitely not this disgusting "basecamp" in Dollar Point.

Could have been better, avoid the hot months

We had a few major issues with this place: 1. Overall Cleanliness. There were cobwebs in many reachable places with tons of caught bugs and happy spiders. We cleaned up most of them on our day of arrival, but they should have been cleaned well in advance of our stay. The patio was covered in pollen, which we had to wash away. We had to mop our kitchen floors because they were dirty. The carpet had visible stains. We vacuumed after a few days and pulled up more dust than I'd expect if it were recently cleaned. Outside around and below the deck was some garbage, including a cigarette butt. 2. Overall upkeep of furnishings and amenities. Material on one of the dining room chairs was visibly tattered and falling off the bottom. One of the recliners had a missing foam insulation in one of the arms (not visible in the posting photos). The carpet was bunching in places. The dish washer had a missing button, missing wheels on the bottom rack, and the door would dangerously fall on its own if not completely closed. There was a large crack in the bottom bedroom with two beds, partly covered by a picture. In the same room, there is visible water damage below the window, which also happens to be at the head of the single bed. The queen bed in the bottom bedroom with two beds sags in the middle and was very uncomfortable for my wife and I. 3. Ventilation. We stayed for a week at the beginning of August with temperatures in the 80s and the house got unbearably hot during the day. We opened all the windows and doors and turned on all the fans they provided and still couldn't cool the house. Luckily the air quality was "good" enough (100-150 AQI) with the nearby fires that we spent most of our time at the Lake, but if the air quality was worse, I'm not sure what we would have done, but staying inside with the windows shut would have been a none starter. 4. No HOA amenities. For the $$$$ we paid for 7 days, we should have had access to at least the beach, if not the pool. No clear indication that the cost was reduced for previously provided amenities at Dollar Point. 5. Slow Wifi. My wife and I both had to take video calls and encountered many issues trying to maintain a connection. Only one person could be on, and we had to disconnect all other devices. On the positive side, the place has an open layout and good location. The hot tub is great, and the bathrooms are nice. It just needs some TLC and $15-20k of improvements.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is in need of some repairs and upgrades to the furniture. We never were able to use the hot tub due to a combination lock placed on it. During the afternoon the heat in the rental was unbearable even with all the fans running. Of course, it didn't help that most of the windows couldn't be opened. Overall, we were disappointed for the price we paid.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of 6 had the best time in Tahoe -- we came on Memorial Day weekend when it wasn't cold enough to ski and not quite warm enough to be at the pool or lake, but we still had the absolute best time relaxing in the mountains. It's definitely in a quiet residential neighborhood, but we were still able to enjoy ourselves without any complaints (we weren't very rowdy). The house was well kept, comfortable, and clean. It was super easy to communicate with the Tahoe Getaways team and they even called me on the day of our arrival to let us know the home was ready earlier than expected and we could come sooner. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved grilling out on the patio! The only downside was that the fridge and freezer didn't seem to stay very cold so some of our food spoiled. But other than that, it was the perfect weekend! I worked with Nicole from Tahoe Getaways, and she was a pleasure to communicate with.

Very quiet neighborhood. Beach access was cool. Very family friendly, not so much for crowd over 21.Even a little noise seems like a lot of noise here. Our experience here was amazing, so much fun with friends. Only negative thing was no AC an we didn't know that till we got there. Would've been nice to know that considering it was in the 90's the entire time. Fans just push around hot air. Was okay at night but still hot.

First time leaving bad review after 20 plus years in Tahoe.

Reviewer Comments: The pictures of this rental are deceiving as the house was in rough shape. The carpets and bed sheets were badly stained. I washed the sheets and got some of the stains out but had to buy stain remover. Lot of cobwebs on every window and paper black shades cover the view. Ants everywhere. There were five or six traps all along the downstairs, but that didn't help and just made the place look even worse. When you are paying for a nice vacation and leave one day early, that is a problem. Screens are ducktaped. Owners need to invest some money in this property before renting it out. Cleaners need help. We were disappointed for the first time after going to Tahoe for much of our lives.
