"Over all stay was okay but when you book through Expedia, they don't provide a good room. I don't know what is the deal between them or it's about the person who stays there. Am an Asian obviously I can't change my face I wish I could to treat equally. They have the best slot for others they put me somewhere down where I can hear if someone walks upstairs I can hear clearly coz it's only the wooden floors and no carpet on it. "The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back.
The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. The air conditioner and TV worked well but the window shades were hard to operate. Our room had a queen-sized bed and it was nice.

"Loved Outpost Inn; highly recommend and can't imagine staying anywhere else in town -- incredible vibe, great coffee shop and wine bar, lots of cute spots to sit inside and outside. It felt like the place in town when all the younger, cooler (young meaning, 50 and under, ha) hang out. I loved my room, which was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the free drip coffee in the mornings. And wow, the weather in Highlands can't be beat in the summer."

"We only stayed for one night and it was a basic hotel stay. Check in was quick and easy, my room was clean and the air got cold. Got a great night sleep then left early the next morning. It was a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy or frilly, but I paid a basic price for a standard room. As long as it’s clean and serves the purpose, I’m happy. I’d definitely stay again if passing through the area."

Website says available upon request, which is false. The only option was to upgrade at $15 more per day to have a room wirh fridge and microwave. Otherwise, rooms were clean, I would stay again."

"The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel."
