    We are around the corner from one of Lake Placid's best restaurants. There is a nice fenced in playground and waterfront park nearby. It is a quick walk up the hill to the Olympic Center, Olympic Oval, Mirror Lake Beach and Main St.
    This private home has a living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor and 3 bedrooms and full bath upstairs. Two bedrooms have king sized beds that can be converted into 2 single beds each if preferred. The third has a full bed. All beds are protected by anti allergen mattress covers. There is a pullout couch in the living room. We have rustic hardwood floors upstairs and polished hardwood floors downstairs.
    Our door has a Schlage keyless entry lock and each renter's code is unique so there is no fear of key duplication. There are 2 televisions with Amazon Prime and fire sticks and the home has fast wireless internet. Relax in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch or BBQ on the large back deck. The deck and side yard are fenced in for privacy.

    A nice clean place for our family of 5 for a weekend get away. Excellent walking distance to downtown and hub for hiking. The house is well equipped and we put the BBQ on the deck to good use.

    This was a perfect house for the overflow from our 16 person XC ski group’s trip as the main house was only a couple of blocks away. Those who stayed in the house found it clean, comfortable and convenient.

    Great spot and wonderful hospitality!

    We really enjoyed our stay. It was warm and cozy and plenty of space for our family of 6. Pat was excellent with communication and very hospitable with helpful local advice. We hope to stay again here.

    Everything you need but the food. This was the cleanest vrbo we have been in. It had everything and was quiet ans serene. It felt like being at grandmas house for the weekend. Would definitely stay again.

    Cleanest place we have rented!

    Great location and cottage for our stay with 2 littles! There was plenty of room for our party of 6. Host was very helpful and offered to set up sleeping arrangements for our family.

    Highly recommend using this host for your stay! Location was within walking distance to the Olympic center and many restaurants/businesses! Pat was fantastic with communication and would highly recommend this location!

    Location is Everything!

    We Hiking women were happy to find a place where we could cook a meal, eat on the patio, get a restful sleep in our own private spaces, and prepare for an epic high peaks hike! This property was perfectly equipped for our needs.

    Family visiting from Germany to spend time in the Adirondacks

    This property suited our needs for an accommodation for a multigenerational family visit very well. The hosts were extremely accessible and helpful. It was fun wandering around in Lake Placid. We would very much consider staying at this property again.

    Lake Placid Getaway

    We had a great time in Lake Placid at Patricia's place. It had plenty of room for our family of 5. The location was great for exploring downtown Lake Placid. There are many good places to eat close by as well as lots of outdoor activities. Pat was great with communication and it was easy to access the space. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

    Great location

    We had 4 young child who easily walked to Main Street for all the activities multiple times a day. Great location, nicely stocked with all necessities. Property owner was accessible and prompt to respond. Will stay again!

    Hervorragende Unterkunft

    Anlass unseres Besuches war die Bob Weltmeisterschaft in LP. Die Unterkunft und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern waren toll.Das Cottage in Lake Placid war sehr sauber und komplett mit allem ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

    Excellent location and amenities

    The cottage is in a wonderful location, that is close to the main street and to main highways while still being secluded enough to have peace and quiet. The amenities provided, particularly cookware in the kitchen are also terrific and allow you to feel like you're at a home away from home while staying. Pat is also incredibly communicative, considerate, and helpful as a host.

    Quick Getaway to Lake Placid

    House is so well appointed - you want for nothing! The kitchen has all you need, the beds are comfortable and even though there is only 1 bathroom, it works! It is a bit of a walk into town, but definitely possible. Everything is super clean! Parking is easy.
