This place was perfect for our work week during the Lake Placid World Cup Mountain Bike Race. The house was set up with what we needed for our stay. Perfect location for getting out to Whiteface and Mt. Van Hovenberg. Easy walk across the lawn to the steps down to town, with gorgeous views along the way.

Fantastic Stay!!

Crowne Plaza properties always deliver. Great location, clean and comfortable. Spacious and private with access to the beautiful hotel and all of it's amenities. WEe can't say enough about our Lake Placid experience, it is always an amazi g time and it is only made better by staying in a Crown Plaza VR O.

AMAZING!!!

Another fantastic stay at a Crowne Plaza property. Even better this year, being at the actual hotel, which is simply gorgeous. The views are surreal. We enjoyed the hotel bar and pool and having Main Street so close was excellent. The property and town are extremely dog-friendly, which is fantastic. The hotel staff are terrific, we were treated like family. The house itself was immaculate, spacious, well maintained and perfect for our trip. I cannot praise Crowne Plaza properties enough, we look forward to next year already! Thanks for a perfect vacation!!

Mediocre property but great location

My party of 6 came for Ironman Lake Placid week. The cottage is owned by the Crowne Plaza. The property is very dated — old carpeting; basic cable tvs; old kitchen and minimal kitchen serving ware and prep tools. We had issues with hotel guests parking in the driveway and had to call the hotel each time to take care of the issue. We had a 1 week reservation and called hotel to request blankets since there were none on the beds - it was like pulling teeth but we finally got them. We also requested additional toilet paper and paper towels since we only got one roll of paper towels and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a one week rental, but the hotel said they would not provide them to us. We had an issue with ants and silverfish in all of the bathrooms and kitchen. The only positives were that the bedding and towels were clean and it is located very close to town and to the Ironman start/finish. There are many other properties in Lake Placid that are better value for the cost. We will not be returning.

Very nice

This house is very spacious. I hadn’t realized it would be thisclose to the hotel itself, but swimming there on the afternoon it rained was a huge plus. The check in and check out process was extremely simple. Overall, a win for our family trip!

Nice location

We were surprised with the amount of space in the cottage. We were in the king bedroom downstairs with the very high bed. The bathroom was very nice. Our 3 adult kids used the two upstairs bedrooms and had plenty of space. The kitchen table was perfect for a family game. We had breakfast at the hotel which was delicious. We walked around the stores and had a good meal. The house was nice and quiet. We had a short drive to several attractions we wanted to see. We would stay here again.

Epic Mountain Getaway

I don’t know where to begin. This place was magical. The views are from every window. Mountains, the lake, the village. You couldn’t ask for more. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. And accessing it was even better. Literally just pull right up to the door. And the restaurants and bars of the village are right at your feet when you’re done with your day exploring the Adirondacks!!! Can’t wait to go again! Did not want to leave!

Wonderful weekend in Lake Placid

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the cottage very much. We were three couples and have 3 king bedrooms with their own private bathrooms was a great feature and helped us pick this cottage. I think getting access to the hotel at the doors right next to the cottage would be beneficial especially when it is -4 so the walk to use the hotel amenities is not outdoors for too long. It wasn’t terrible but would be a nice benefit if the lower doors had a key pass we could have entered/exited through. All in all we had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend this cottage.

The Bullets: * Great location * Nice Views * Hotel Clean and Amenities * Very good WIFI This quaint cottage is on Crowne Plaza property, which allows you to enjoy the other amenities of the hotel property while still having the privacy and spaciousness of your own cottage. The cottage provides Crowne Plaza quality towels and linens and, in the kitchen, all the items you would expect from a hotel efficiency. Overlooking the charming Lake Placid Village (within walking distance), the cottage is located at the top of a hill with beautiful views of the mountains,. The WIFI worked great during our whole stay (we brought our laptop and streamed movies with no interruptions). We had 4 adults in our party and had plenty of space for all the luggage and gear that goes with a winter ski vacation. The property manager was great to work with! I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in the middle of Lake Placid

House was wonderful and right next to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Granview Cottage was nicer than the photos. House and located within walking distance of Mirror Lake and Lake Placid Village as well as several Olympic Sites. Had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage with foliage view for every room

My family and friends enjoyed 5 days vacation staying at this beautiful cottage. It is located within Crown Plaza Hotel, walking distant to Lake placid downtown and mirror lake. This cottage is well kept, spacious and has everything we needed. Every room has foliage view, check in and check out were so smooth. We had a wonderful stay and high recommended to every one !

Lovely House

Came here because my daughter and friends were competing in the Ironman. The proximity to the starting point and finish line were within walking distance. My two older grandchildren enjoyed the pool and exercise room. We walked to everything! A little on the pricey side but it was IMLP week, so we understand. Worth every penny!

Beautiful- Peaceful- Great Location

We booked our reservation for a 7 night stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find a full size oven with stove top. Kitchen was fully stocked, stackable washer and dryer. Large spacious bathrooms within each bedroom. Not very handicapped friendly as bed on main level was very high. Pull out bed was suggested and we discovered each couch in main living room were closed with plywood and no pull out beds. Views were wonderful from every room. WiFi was very poor as it seems to share with the main hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Quick drive to beach was convenient and easy. Cabin had a large amount of what appeared to be earwigs. They were everywhere. We enjoyed our stay very much.
