Room was clean, warm, and very accessible to Main Street. My only concerns were that the walls were extremely thin and we would easily hear people’s voices, with a single closet door separating our room from other guests’ rooms. Fixtures/handles seem to be poorly built as well. A coat hook fell as soon as we hung a jacket, water pressure was weak, the shower faucet handle detached, couldn’t figure out how to turn on hot water, and the sliding shower door doesn’t stay closed. Not sure if we’d come back to this place again, but we still had a pretty good experience and you get what you pay for, considering other hotels/inns in the area are so much more expensive!

Fan was very loud in the bathroom! We had window and door issues in other rooms. Our 4th stay. It appears all rooms have some kind of issues. No heat at night. Very cold. Better during the day. Neighbor parked over two spaces including ours and the a huge 4x4. No management to check and tell them to park correctly… clean overall. Ok for one night but keep low expectations in light with low prices.

Great stay at Maple Leaf Inn. Room was clean, in a great location and even included a chair! 5/5 regardless but chair was very comfortable and truly made our stay!

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, mostly quiet between rooms. Good location. The TV/cable did not work and our call and text about it wasn't answered until the following day. It took some finagling to get the door to lock (push or pull hard until it clicks!). Still, a great bargain for this area. Slept like a log and I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic and affordable find for our last-minute stay. Great location which is just off the main drag enough to be quiet but close enough to make things walkable if you don't mind a hill. The recently renovated room accommodated the 4 of us fine. The check in at 3:00 was super easy - though nerve racking as I did not get any response to my 2 emails requesting confirmation prior and the information on how to check in only came at 2:55!!!

It was a good, affordable option! We liked the location, quiet spot but easy to walk into town! It could have been cleaner, but was good for what we needed. There were a few quirks that weren’t a big deal- tv volume didn’t work and shower door was tricky since it was off the track- slightly frustrating but wasn’t end of the world. Communication could have been better leading up to the stay, once on sight the host was responsive.

Easy check in and out. I arrived about 10 pm and had no issues. Room was cozy, not fancy or updated, but we mostly slept and it was clean and comfortable bed. TV was a smart tv about 46" and room had a desk, 2 queen size beds, coffee maker, micro and plenty of towels.

We had a fantastic experience staying here! The room was recently renovated, clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Everything—from the linens to the bathroom—felt fresh and well cared for.The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Main Street, where you’ll find great restaurants, shops, and beautiful views of Mirror Lake. It was so convenient to explore the town without needing to drive or worry about parking. The host was friendly and responsive, and check-in was smooth and easy. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Placid, whether for a relaxing getaway or outdoor adventure.Would absolutely stay again!

Our stay was a short overnight… location was a short drive to Main Street, we were able to grab an Uber for 11-15 on a busy December weekend. We had a little bit of trouble at check in as it wasn’t quite 3P, but issue was resolved quickly. The room was as described, bare necessities, but clean and beds were comfy. A large rug or mat to cover front door entry way is suggested as the tiny mat provided wasn’t sufficient for entering with snowy boots or for placing them once off.

The room was spotlessly clean. It was warm and the manager, who I saw once was helpful. And immediately provided the towels which were not in the room when I arrived. As a non American who did not have a phone plan to receive SMS in the US getting the door code was problematic as emails were not responded to to. The room was not serviced throughout my 5 night stay. This was not an issue for me but maybe for some.

The entry door was broken and did not lock. When management was contacted she was extremely rude. She tried to blame us for the missing hardware on the latch and broken wood missing on the door jam. The toilet was clogged - multiple outreach made with no response. luckily the doors for maintenance also did not lock - we got a plunger and fixed it ourselves. The parking area was not properly plowed- people had to park on the sidewalks in front of doors. No coffee, no cups, no dining area as advertised were available. No daily housekeeping service es were supplied. It was warm and clean - room was way too small for 4 people.

STAY AWAY! We received a key code to our room from Nadeira 45 mins before checkin. Hours later while already checked in she texted me another key code randomly. She said she received a message on hive saying I had forgotten my code. I never sent her a message. She said to disregard so I did. I then received a text from her saying “I have an idea. Give me a minute” I asked “an idea in regards to what?” she did not respond. A couple of minutes after that I had a man come to our door and try to get in by putting in a key code a couple of times until my husband opened the door and scared him away. I texted Nadeira…no response even though the text showed “read” . I called, no answer. I told her I was close to calling the police…again, read but no response so I called her again and she finally answered. She said she’d have the general manager call me to give me a credit because they had “overbooked” my room and that was why that happened. This man had no luggage and didn’t seem surprised to find guests in the room he had “booked”. I told her I didn’t feel safe and she said “there are cameras all around the property”…..I’m not sure what that would do to keep me safe if someone came into my room but ok. She then called me back herself one minute later with a blocked number and said she couldn’t give me any credit because “she had the man there with her and he said he was not able to get into the room” and then she hung up on me! I never received a call from a general manager.
