Take in the beauty of nature while having close access to Spirit Lake, Arnolds Park, and Okoboji. Spend your days having breakfast at Rise & Grind Bakery and Kitchen, boating/fishing on Silver Lake, or biking on the nearby bike path. Welcome to your home away from home!

    This property features four queen beds, three bathrooms with showers, and a cozy living room with a sofa bed. Guests will feel at home with amenities like a washing machine and dryer, WiFi, coffee bar, and AC. Whether you're looking to unwind after a day of exploring or simply enjoying the view of Silver Lake, this welcoming retreat is the perfect choice for your next getaway. We look forward to hosting you at the Pond House!

    Please note: The host's dad lives in unit #1 on the other half of the duplex. Guests have full access to unit #2 and can check themselves in with the keyless entry keypad. Two storage rooms will be locked: one in the main bedroom upstairs and one in the living room downstairs.

Very clean & comfy. Great communication from hosts leading up to trip & quick responses when we had questions! Close enough to Okoboji for all the fun yet out of the traffic & all the people. The pond out back has wildlife to watch & we had fun catching bullheads. Plenty of room for all ages to have space to hang out

Summer 2025 family trip

The layout of the home was perfect for 3 families and children. Three bathrooms all with showers! Lots of comfy lounging space. Very nice bedding and towels. Beautiful pond behind home with pelicans. We really enjoyed the firepit and room for the kids to run and play. Eating spaces on both levels was great.

Loved the layout, and even with the rain...it was so peaceful and so enjoyable!! Beds were so comfortable!! Thank you!!!I would suggest...in the info about the house, I would tell guests that they need to bring ice. Or how to make the ice maker in the frig work.

1st Family Vacation

For our 1st family vacation, we wanted a location within driving distance from our 2 cities. This was perfectly situated for that objective. The Pond House, located in a very nice neighborhood, was very clean and comfortable and met our family’s need by providing both areas for togetherness, but plenty of space that allowed for separation. It had plenty of green space to fly kites on a very windy day, and the quiet street provided opportunity to use our scooters. The driveway was long enough that we had extra room after parking our 2 cars and large pickup truck. A paved walking trail was at the end of the street. We did bring paper plates, etc., (although ample dinnerware was available) and bought condiments and perishable items at the nearby grocery store. We didn’t discover the grill in the garage before our trip to the grocery store or we may have grilled the first night.The beds and linens were very comfortable, and there was a nice supply of towels and soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Getting to Okoboji was an easy trip. Coming from large cities, the 15-minute drive was something we were used to and wasn’t an issue. Brandon and Amanda were very responsive and communicated quickly to answer questions. Plus, it was nice knowing Amanda’s dad was on the other side of the duplex if immediate attention was required. Checking in and out were very easy! We’re very glad for the sweet family time we had while staying at the Pond House!
